After tonight, they still have to play SD, which will be playing for homefield throughout the playoffs. That will not be an easy game for them. In fact, I think they lose that one.
You're right, I forgot about that game.

At least tonight, they're on the road. And teams are 1-9 this year in road games following Monday night games. Seattle played last Monday.

Let's hope they lose both.:D

To clear up any confusion... here's the Week 14 Breakdown. I probably should have done this to begin with. Note: Dallas records are with wins and Giants records are with losses.

Dal goes 9-4 w/Win while Giants go 6-7 w/Loss
Dal goes 8-5 w/Loss while Giants go 7-6 w/Win
Dal goes 8-5 w/Loss while Giants go 6-7 w/Loss

Giants still statistically in the hunt for division.
Dallas clinches a guaranteed wild-card berth with win and Seattle loss.

Week 15:

Dal goes 10-4 w/Win while Giants go to 6-8 w/Loss
Dal goes 9-5 w/Loss while Giants go to 8-6 w/Win
Dal goes 9-5 w/Loss while Giants go to 6-8 w/Loss

Giants are still in the hunt for division. Can clinch a wildcard berth with win and losses from certain teams.
Dallas improves seeding with win and Seattle/New Orleans loss.

Week 16:

Dal goes 11-4 w/Win while Giants go to 6-9 w/Loss
Dal goes 10-5 w/loss while Giants go to 9-6 w/Win
Dal goes 10-5 w/loss while Giants go to 6-9 w/Loss

Giants are statistically eliminated dependent on other teams W/L record.
Dallas clinches division and first round bye with win and losses by Seattle/New Orleans.

Week 17:

Dal goes 12-4 w/Win while Giants go 6-10 w/Loss
Dal goes 10-6 w/loss while Giants go 10-6 w/Win
Dal goes 10-6 w/Loss while Giants go 6-10 w/Loss

Giants eliminated with loss.
Dallas clinches division with win. First round bye conceivable with help.

I hope that clears it up a little bit...

At this point just making the playoffs would be disappointing. I expected that before the season began.

Next weekends' game will probably end up determining the second seed (and bye week). Seattle is really faltering, they're a very mediocre team. The Cowboys already hold the tiebreaker over the Panthers. Whoever wins the Saints-Cowboys game will put the other team behind by two games (head-to-head tiebreaker and win-loss).
