Micah Parsons just gets better every time I watch him.

I was there yesterday, so I don't know what Nantz and Romo said, but the dude made two of the best plays I've seen from a Cowboy in years.

The first was a screen pass that he sniffed out, turned and sprinted the play down from behind.

That play was going to score. There was a seam to cut back into that was wide open. Instead, tackle short of the sticks and no damage.

And of course, the fumble at the goal line doesn't happen if Micah doesn't also run that play down at the 1 yard line.

That changed the game entirely, and Dallas rolled from there.

This guy is headed to the Hall of Fame first ballot barring anything catastrophic. He is the best defensive player in football right now.

He makes it fun to watch.

"Saved the game" might be a little hyperbolic, with an 18 point difference in the score at the end, but it was a massive play.

If Detroit goes ahead 13-10 in the 4th quarter the pressure swings to Dallas. The 18-point difference came about largely because Detroit had to play catch-up.

Does Dallas still win? Probably. Is it as comfortable in the end? Doubtful.

he also had the missed sack where Goff got free, I think he made an 8 yard gain but Parsons never gave up on the play and though at one point he was the defender farthest behind the line he sprinted all the way to make the tackle and prevent a first down

Yep, that play, too.

Relentless. Every play.

If the Lions score, they're up 13-10. Instead, they don't score the rest of the game.

Game changer.
Game changer, yes. Not necessarily a game winning stop, as you never know what would have happened after. Them scoring a TD may have lit a fire under our offense, which we've seen happen before. I'm not in any way diminishing the play. It was incredible, and I wouldn't change a thing. (except maybe if he really had stopped him at the one yard line, instead of the one foot mark, just so the Lions fans wouldn't be complaining about the spot) Micah was blessed by the football gods.

So...put your name on it...

What is quinn to do?

Micah is going out of his way to let everyone know he is emotionally attached to Quinn...numerous times now.

Quinn has either confided in Parsons that he will remain a Cowboys coach HC or DC or Quinn is next HC?

Why is Parsons going out of his way like this for a man hes only known a year and a half? Doesnt he have other coaches in his past that hes been with for longer periods?

Something is wierd about Parsons cozying up to Quinn, imo.

Dak still needs to improve.

thats the mentality needed to be and remain a champion

jimmy Johnson personified that trait and he demanded it carry over into his players

Michael Irvin too. When Jimmy Johnson became coach, "I pulled out that list of everybody who told me don't worry about it (losing) as long as you pick up that check. And I said 'Jimmy. He has to go and he has to go. He's not here to win. He's not here to win.'"

I LOVE that story. It shows how passionate Irvin was about winning and how he couldn't stomach slackers.
