Two of the best plays I've seen in forever

Micah Parsons just gets better every time I watch him.

I was there yesterday, so I don't know what Nantz and Romo said, but the dude made two of the best plays I've seen from a Cowboy in years.

The first was a screen pass that he sniffed out, turned and sprinted the play down from behind.

That play was going to score. There was a seam to cut back into that was wide open. Instead, tackle short of the sticks and no damage.

And of course, the fumble at the goal line doesn't happen if Micah doesn't also run that play down at the 1 yard line.

That changed the game entirely, and Dallas rolled from there.

This guy is headed to the Hall of Fame first ballot barring anything catastrophic. He is the best defensive player in football right now.

He makes it fun to watch.
The first one isn't getting enough talk because of the field position of the second one, but that showed his football smarts and athletic ability and was a harbinger of what was about to come later in the game.

Apologies if it was already asked, but what was the other play? Or were you talking about a 2-play scenario, and not two distinct great plays?
Yeah, it seemed like he was saying 2 great plays by Micah, but only actually mentioned 1 by Micah and the ensuing 1 by DLaw. A little confusing.

MP is definitely the face and leader of this entire team!! Actually, the entire organization. I hope this fires up the others to spend more time in the weight and film room!! Quinn is just what the Dr ordered on this D.

Oh, I'm not saying it wasn't the catalyst that changed the complexion of the game. It definitely swung the momentum. What I'm saying is that, as you stated, you don't know how things would have played out under different circumstances, and it's possible that the momentum still would have swung in our favor after they got a TD. It's not like this defense has a history of just giving up after the other team scores.
Yesterday I was watching the live broadcast of the "Cowboys Hour" on the mothership website. :star:.com. They interviewed Ezekiel Elliott. Even he described that play by Micah as game-saving. So I don't think I'm off base by having that opinion.

Did he say game "saving" or "changing"? Regardless, everyone is prone to letting their emotions affect their perception. It was a great play, as was DLaw's ensuing FF.

Why do you insist on insulting my intelligence? First, I heard Zeke say what I said he said. Second, my perception is not affected by my emotions. I have a specific opinion that I have arrived at with my reasoned mind, not emotion. You can't give me that? We can't disagree?

I was referring to Zeke's emotions, sorry I wasn't clear on that. As for what he said, I wasn't questioning your intelligence, just making sure that's what he said. Everyone misquotes on occasion. We certainly can agree to disagree, brother, I have no problem with that.
