We will need to win 2 out of the last 3 for a playoff berth. After looking over schedules and playing with the generator, we get in with 11 wins. If we end up at 10-6, I have only found one scenario where we would get in so far(that takes Arizona completely crashing).

Upcoming games:
Philly - I think we lose again, they have too much speed and tempo for our defense to contend with.

Indy - I love Luck but that team is beatable and I like us winning coming off of a loss in that situation. After this Sunday, their defense should have given up more points than us after 13 games. They do run the no-huddle too but not at Philly's pace.

Wash - No need to try and guess but I can't foresee Colt beating us twice, he sucks.

So, we need to take two of the next three games and I don't care who they are against, just win two. Even if we beat the Eagles, they own the tie-breaker and I don't see them dropping one to the Giants or Skins. We just need to take care of business.

The good news is that we control our own destiny again(assuming Philly loses) and seed #2 should happen if we run the table, hinging on the Cardinals collapse.

I don't know if we should go on the road or not but if we face the South, I will not complain :)

Well, off to play with the generator some more to see what other scenarios are out there...............

Besides the obvious games Seattle @ Philly and Tampa @ Detroit I'll be paying attention to that KC-Arizona game. Rooting for KC to beat Arizona this weekend. I think Arizona is really leaning on imploding completely if they lose that game. The next 3 after that are all division games.

Got to get some help from the Seahawks traveling to Philly. They win that game and we're likely a wild card even if we win out. But I think the chance of Dallas not getting in at 11-5 are slim.

Not putting any money on TB beating Detroit.

We can beat philly man, we just need offense to take the same approach as we did against Seattle and NO keep the offense on the field to have our Defense fresh.

Any shot at the #1 seed if we run the table?

An outside chance if Philly loses to Seattle and we run the table we are at worst the 3 seed. It really depends on tiebreakers. We would be 8-4 in the NFC. Green Bay would have to lose again to an NFC opponent. That would give them 4 conference losses. The only problem is the winner of the NFC West most likely Seattle or Arizona both only have 2 conference losses and they play each other 1 more time and if we are going to win the division need Seattle to beat Philly. Right now I'll just be happy with winning the division and maybe a bye. The number 1 seed is probably a long shot.

As long as Mark Sanchez is the QB Philly is beatable, but the defense has to make him feel some pressure.

You are probably right but Tampa has played a lot of teams very well this year and Detroit well they are Detroit. I don't totally trust them.

So are we rooting for an Arizona collapse or not? I am confused.

Believe it not, Washington game is the one I worry the most. Romo has never had ab easy game against them in Washington. Even last year when we won, he was beat up and took a last second TD pass to Murray to win the game.

Actually we can go 11-5 and still not get in. Seattle goes 3-1 and win their division. Lions go 3-1 and get a wild card spot. Packers and an nfl south team win their division. Arizona goes 1-3 but gets in due to beating is in the regular season. I used the yahoo playoff simulator and it spit out this scenario. I hope it doesn't happen.
