Why would there even be a TAMU-CC hoodie? It is even warmer in CC than San Antonio.

If the temp drops below 70 they start breaking out the extreme cold weather gear. :laugh2:

Love snow. Absolutely love it. Problem is...I'm not so keen on the cold. My perfect winter is four months of 10's at night and days in the 40's.

The rest of the year should be 75 and sunny. :D

1. I love wearing hoodies, but it is almost never cold enough to wear one. I wear shorts year around. It would be nice to get at least 2-3 months of cold (in the 40s) that way I could wear my Spurs and TAMU-CC hoodies, as well as get me a few Cowboys and Longhorns hoodies.

2. It has only snowed twice in SA in my lifetime. I don't mind not having to deal with those huge blizzards, but it would be nice to get snow at least once every few years......what I really want is just to have one white Christmas here in SA. That would be awesome.

I know whatcha mean. We went to the Twin cities for spring break hoping to catch some snow and it was in the 60's-80's..

They said it snowed 10 inches the week before we got their...

No doubt, my favorite golfing time of year is in the winter cause nobodys out playing if it God forbids drops below 60 around here, ha. You can get a round in in a couple hours.

I love cold weather, but i dont think i could handle what some of you guys go thru, like if it doesnt get above freezing for multiple days. I like a cool/brisk morning, then it warms up during the day.

I was in SA in early 1985 and it snowed an inch. Paralized the city. The following weekend it snowed agian but this time it was two inches. Stranded me in basic training an extra two days.

Next stop was Wichita, Texas and it snowed so bad, that there was 5-6 foot snow drifts against the buildings. But with land that flat, the wind will do that. :D

just so you know, we got 13 inches in February 1985....and only some snow mist since....nothing that would stick. the closest thing we got to snow again, was when it showed all over south Texas, even in Corpus and Laredo, but not SA....just a few years ago

I enjoy fall the most. It gets a little chillier, but not too cold. Changing colors of trees and Halloween is pretty cool. January through April is probably the worst time of the year, weather wise.

Whenever snow is forecast for my neck of the woods, I get nervous. We see it occasionally, but usually it's going to come down as either rain or sleet.

I'm not too far from the Arkansas border. There have been times where it sleeted here and snowed just over the state border. It's like some force field or something.

Needless to say, I hate sleet. There's nothing like driving two tons of metal and watching it slide in any damn direction it wants without your say so.

I love the cold weather.
I lived in Fairbanks AK and in Grand Rapids MI.
Seen my share of snow.
Moved here in '03 and laugh at people complaining about our "cold" weather.

Had to be the same storm. I left basic in January and went straight to Sheppard AFB.

We have two seasons up here: Winter, and getting ready for Winter. By Christmas, our lake is frozen over, and it's not gone until mid to late May. You come to terms with Winter or you leave. Part of our strategy is take take a holiday in February-March on some warm beach. Went to Las Vegas in July (112 degrees) and loved it. We stored as much heat in our bones as we could. Please feel free to send any spare warmth you have to my neck of the woods. My thanks in advance.

I'm moving to San Antonio in December.

After three years in Kansas and 3 1/2 in Germany, I can deal with some mild winters. :D

I agree. I'm 18 and lived in Fair Oaks Ranch/Boerne outside of San Antonio til I was 13. It'd have been cool to have had some snow every once in a while, that's something a kid should grow up with! haha. I'm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina now and once again, no snow!

Been there done that and I laugh at people who break out the parkas when the temp is in the 40's in TN.

I miss Germany, other than the weather, loved it there.

I won't miss Kansas, however.:)

I've never been to Kansas and don't care to go there.....just because I hate their college bball team. :banghead:

My favorite thing about Germany was leaving for good. :laugh1:
