From my vantage point the only thing different between these Cowboys and the same old is style points. The teams they've beaten aren't any different. How they've beaten them is in most cases.

We always beat bad teams(most of our schedule). We always beat middle of the road to good teams at home(Rams, Seahawks). We always beat the Eagles (haven't swept Dallas since 2011).

They have looked better doing it this year. I won't question that. That may be enough for you to believe this team is different. It's not for me.

But here's what is. @ Buffalo and @ Miami.

Two legitimate playoff contenders who can advance in the postseason. Both on the road. Both fighting for playoff positioning with the Bills really fighting for their playoff lives. In the elements. In December.

The same old Cowboys fumble the ball here. Now is when you can truly change the narrative.

They had a previous opportunity at a narrative changing win against San Francisco this year and they flopped miserably.

Cowboys! ?

They have to show me before I'll believe.
Agreed.

There have been legit SuperBowl contenders to start the year:

SF
Philly
Buffalo
Miami
Cincy
Chiefs
Baltimore
Jets

Then we're were 2 maybes: Jaxonville and the Lions.

Cindy and Jets lost their QBs and the Jets went from Contender to bottom 10 team.

So we have played THREE games against legit contenders (SF and Philly x2)... and are 1-2 against them. We have 2 contenders and a semi-contender (Lions) left.... this team will be defined in the next 3 weeks.

First it started with the Seahawks game. That wasn’t enough so it’s became the Philthy game. They trounced them so now you band wagon fans are so nervous that’s become the next 2 days. Then it will be a playoff win. Then it will be the 2nd playoff game and so on and so forth. You haters are so laughable.

This isn't hating or not hating

Those were the consensus SB favorites....unanimously.

Seattle was NEVER considered a SB contender or elite team....by anyone.

They are essentially the Chargers or the Browns.

Don't be defensive. There's nothing negative about my post....it's simply saying we will know much much more about this team in 3 weeks than we do now. That's just stating the obvious

I agree. Every time we start to flex, we get the cardinals game all over. Every game moving forward will show how truly dominant Dallas may or may not be. I still think defense is suspect. They did force 3 fumbles vs Philly, but most forget they were in scoring territory too. Philly moved the ball.
and we moved the ball in Philadelphia, and in Arizona but mistakes cost us

Are you on the bandwagon if they win both games??
I've been so scared over the years by the Cowboys that I doubt I'll truly ever be on board completely until about a week AFTER they win the super bowl.
Lol

I haven't been as "decided" as you have been. I've been on and off the fence. But that said, I completely agree. If we don't do something different this year, it's just a rinse and repeat of the same losing stuff. We need play like we belong these two games. And we need to take that same sense of energy and urgency into the playoffs.

Well you can't move the goalposts all the time. They beat a very good Eagles team or at least exposed their weaknesses. Now we have seen a lot of seemingly good regular seasons and then everything fell apart in the playoffs.

So at this point I don't care about Buffalo or Miami. Yes, the #1 seed would be nice since we're a force again at home. But other than that these two games won't tell us anything we don't know already.

No sir, once again it's all about the playoffs and how far we can go there. And from what I have seen we can beat anyone but San Francisco. So that one will be (once again) the game of all games. If someone else eliminates them, even better lol.

If we win the narratibve will change..."They cant beat the 49r's" we know the drill..
Its not a drill its a fact
We have to beat Bills and Miami to have the confidence to win
We have to beat SF (most likely at their home) to get to a SB
If we lose to Bills and/or Miami we are likely the 5 seed and have to beat Philly and SF away which have not done and by losing to Bills and/or Miami we will only reinforce the fact that we cant beat contenders in their home
Those are facts
This super fan act is getting tiresome
Try to open your eyes for once
