After Thomson's great return, JJ runs for 6 yards. We have 3 downs got get 4 yards to continue the drive.

We are stopped. Game over at that point. If we can't get 4 lousy yards when the game is on the line, we don't deserve to win.

Why didn't we freakin run on 2nd down? That was horrible.

Why rush a play in when you have 2 timeouts plus the two minute warning to gain 20 yards to get into FG range?

Boggles the mind.

If Crayton had held onto the ball, we would have had a first down.

I agree. If you can't get four yards in three plays, you really don't deserve to win.

As disappointing as those two bombs were, we still only gave up 14 points. I know the Skins have a good defense, but they aren't the 85 Bears, either. Our offense has to do better than that.

Lotta if's. But the one I question is only running it once there. Just seems a little dense.

I agree. We should of ran the ball on 2nd down.

But we should of never been in that situation to begin with. Our D choked in the 4th quarter. Sound familiar?

Exactly.

Adam, did that hit on that play look like Helmet to Helmet contact to you? I haven't rewatched it yet so I don't know. Either way, helmet to helmet or not, Crayton should of held on. Now maybe he knows what Parcells was meant when he said he better start running lower or he'll have a short career.

I was screaming about that!! Just a dumb play by Bledsoe. We wanted time to run down at that point. Why rush to get an important play off on 2nd down and then end up with 3rd and 4? The smart play was to let the clock go to the 2 minute warning and set up a good play on 2nd down. Bledsoe blew that one!!!

Yes and it's only a matter of time until he fumbles a punt. He's very careless with the ball in his hands!

I believe Taylors helmet actually hit the ball, and that's why it popped out. If Crayton had just made a move to go inside instead of outside after the catch, its a first down.

Do you actually think that was Bledsoe's call -- that he defied Parcells' orders by running another play? I highly doubt it. The decision might be worth criticizing, but I don't think it would be Bledsoe who would deserve the criticism. It would be Parcells, if anyone.

The Skins aren't the "85 Bears" but we aren't exactly the 92 Cowboys either. Crayton had a first down late in the game and dropped the ball. Is that playcalling's fault?

What if we'd opened it up and ended up throwing an INT that was returned for a TD? I know what would happen, everyone would be crying about it saying "We had the lead late in the game and our D was playing Great, WHY ARE YOU THROWING THE BALL?!", that's what they'd be saying. Just like most people were saying last year after the Pitt game (Myself included).

With 5 minutes to go I don't care how many points we've scored, I only care about how many MORE points we have then the opposing team. And a GOOD defense holds a 13 point lead with 5 minutes to go.

all Crayton had to do was dive on the ground, he had the 1st once he caught the football, and to think he actually thought he was going to get much of a gain against the Commander's D, who just flock to the football, he'll get it
