TY Hilton has MRI on hammy

i was going to say is this a huge break for us or a huge break for moncrief. carr looks, acts, walks, talks like terrance newman now.

I thought I saw something on one of the pregame shows a week or two ago, claiming that TNew was currently playing the best of any cornerback in the league. I nearly fell out of my chair. If it looks like TNew is the best cornerback in the league, it's time to get a better look.

Maybe we can rid ourselves of him and that contract if he doesn't want to take a massive cut in pay, and then he can go to Cincy.

They are still playing for seeding. The 3rd seed that is. They are just one game ahead of the Steelers, who killed them earlier. If the Colts drop a game and the Steelers win out, Pitt moves to the 3 seed. The 3 seed means you will play the weaker of the wild card teams and also avoiding the Patriots in the divisional round should you move on.

They do have the division wrapped up but they don't want to drop to the 4 seed.

Plus, Colts already learned their lesson of resting at the end. It threw them off and they never recovered come playoff time.
"Weaker of the wild card teams" doesn't really mean anything: you're probably looking at two of the Bengals, Steelers and Ravens as the wild cards, depending on how the last two games turn out. It's not like there's a clear team that's going to be the 5 seed and that is clearly better than the 6 seed.

But avoiding the Patriots, that's well worth playing for. So yeah, they'll still be going all out, at least in theory. I wonder if it won't be in the back of some guys' minds that it's not that big a game.

Let's just hope that Luck isn't sitting on the bench in the 3rd Quarter for rest.

I've always felt its good to play a team after they clinch a division. I understand they are playing for seeding, but they know they are in. The desperation factor is clearly with the Cowboys this week.

Biggest intangible working for the Cowboys in this game.

I expect Colts being ready to play I would have doubts about Hilton. The question for the Colts is are they willing to risk a big part of their offense in Hilton who is having an MRI on his hamstring, when they have the division in hand?

True but did not look like world beaters this past weekend, they have some issues and weakness of their own that Dallas should be able to exploit

Some people are acting like Indy is 14-0 and Dallas is 4-10. We have the same record...they've lost as many games as we have and we've won as many as they have. All that said, it should be a competitive, exciting game. Although some might think otherwise, our team has the advantage by being at home. I like our chances.

I think it is a game Dallas will be favored in. Of course who the odd makers are picking does not mean jack, Dallas will have to go out and play hard and smart football if they do that I think they will win.

I don't think they're feeling desperation, it's something more positive than that. To me, desperation is what one feels when focusing on potential negative outcomes. I think this team is far more focused on getting a #1 or #2 seed than playing the "what if we lose" game. I know it sounds like splitting hairs, but I think it's a key difference. This team is confident, not desperate. It serves them well in late-game situations.

#1 pass offense in football. Hilton is terrific, but they throw it all over the place.

I've watched their past 2 games and they look very beatable. Against Cleveland, all they needed was decent QB play and they win that game.

Noted that both Cleveland and Houston have better defenses. But I think we can keep the ball away from Luck and limit them by running the ball. Their defense is not very good at all.

I haven't watched any Indy games, so I can't make a real educated guess, but in my mind, if both teams bring their A-Games, Dallas wins.

I agree. I think the Colts are a challenge, they are a playoff team but if Dallas plays their own game they can win this game

They're playing for seeding so if he can go, he will

Such a slim chance at seeding especially if New England, scratch that, when New England beats the Jets. They then would have to have Denver lose out and they win out.

I recall feeling pretty confident about going against the Commanders' backup QB a few weeks ago, too.

I imagine they will see how Hilton's hammy responds this week in practice, but Pagano has already stated they will not rest players if they can go.
They are beatable. We have to be able to run the ball and dominate TOP to give our defense a chance and not give up those big plays.

texans held luck to 187yards passing. I know we are not the texans but im just saying andrew luck can be held in check.

Even if hilton doesn't play im sure nicks will make carr his wife lls. Colts also do a pretty good job at getting both TE's involved.
