He's going to be a free agent soon. We could lose Hamlin and Roy is Roy. It's a discussion point. I see you adding nothing to the subject/thread.
Actually I think he nailed the entire premise of the thread.

That is a valid concern.
There's another...

Team insiders say that an infusion of youth is needed in the Chiefs’ CB corps. For as great as his career as a whole has been, 34-year-old Ty Law no longer has the speed to be considered an elite player. Once boasting the physicality and recovery speed to be a premier bump-and-run corner, Law now cheats further off the line to help mask his diminishing ability. Fellow starting CB Patrick Surtain will be 32 by the time training camp opens and also has seen a regression in ability.
If those are his issues, we might as well keep Reeves as a CB. As for free safety, if he no longer has speed, then that means he no longer has the range to get to the ball when roaming the field.

I knew this would come up when I saw the report on him possibly getting cut yesturday.

Ok...first. You want to bring him in and have him Play FS if Hamlin leaves? Ok...how does that help with Roy in coverage? It doesn't and Law is a downgrade at FS from Hamlin, so if you're going to spend money on a FS you spend it on Hamlin.

Now, second, assuming we signed Hamlin and you're advocating the signing of Law to play FS and move Hamlin to SS. Ok...so you're going to sit Roy, and his 6 million dollar contract, on the bench? You're going to pay a SS 6 million dollars, close to that anyway, to ride the pine? Brilliant move. Again, no.

Or maybe you're one of those guys whose are all "Cut him instead" and that way we get to eat a wonderful 6.6 million dollar cap hit AND have to find, and pay, another body to come in and be the back up FS.

Again, no.

cause there's nothing to add nors. i left you off ignore cause you *had* changed your hard-headed-even-when-being-stupid ways and i got a lot more info out of you.

now you're just politicing for your favorite player and objectivity will have nothing to do with the day.

fyi - there's been nothing to add to ty law threads for 2+ years nors. nothing else can be said when you've beaten the horse so bad you just got some form of smattered horse-gel with a mane hair coming out the top.

LET IT GO.

I'm guessing, from this thread, that Nors must bring up the Law topic every single time the guy is free.

LOL. So Nors is simply a Law homer and just wants him in Dallas regardless of situation or reason. Thanks for the information.

Nors is to Ty Law as John Hinckley Jr. is to Jodie Foster

One time he said he talked to his buddy, Scott Pioli, the Patriots Director of Football operations, and per Nors we had a deal in place with New England that was to send Law to Dallas for the 2nd round pick we used on Jacob Rogers. He claims Pioli personally told him that.

Note that no reputable news source ever picked up on it. No DFW reporter ever hinted at it. Mickey flat out scoffed at the idea when it was brought up to him in his Mick's Mail.

I decided I had to know more. So, I wrote to the Cowboys and asked someone with the Cowboys whose name you would know. I wrote to him specifically asking that. According to him that conversation and trade idea never happened. As in ever.

I shared that with the forum. It did nothing to stop the claims. You can believe whomever you want. I bet if I wrote Scott Pioli he'd tell me the same thing. That no such trade was ever discussed. Believe me, I have considered it.

I don't know. They are pretty even. Though edunce had visual "evidence" of Reeves playing well. But all it really showed was Reeves should have had a PI call on him, ha.
