Tyler Biadasz is becoming good

Twice Biadasz has come through this year to recover fumbles that may have changed the game. Give him credit for giving 100% on those plays. He is not the best C in the league but he is good enough. He seems to improve each year and he is dependable. I think the Cowboys need to re-sign him but of course it all depends on how much money he wants or will attract from other teams. The thing is, the Cowboys don't have another option at C. They would have to draft one early and play him in 2024 if they don't sign Biadasz.

The top Center salary in the league is Jason Kelce at $14.25 million. But the 10th highest salary for Centers is only $6 million. I think for $6 million they need to sign Biadasz. Continuity on the OL is imperative.

If he has to block a DT one on one, he can't. Considering he'll get what McGovern and Williams got, or at least close to it, as a FA, he's gone. Decent centers in the draft are cheap and next year is a big crop.

The real concern to me is Steele. He's looked mostly terrible and the idiots in charge just gave him $16M/yr.

Tyler Biadasz has certainly improved each year he’s been here. Will be interesting at the end of the season to see how Cowboys handle his contract as he hits free agency. With so many big deals looming - Lamb, Parsons, Pollard and others …will he be a cap casualty or will the team find a way to keep him?
I think you can eliminate Pollard off the list,no way they are gonna pay him anywhere near 10 mill again and sad part is I do like Pollard.

Surprised I haven't seen anyone talk about how good this guy is becoming. In the Jets game on the 30 yard completion to Lamb that Lamb fumbled, how on earth was Biadasz there to recover that fumble? He literally blocked, came off the line after the pass and ran upfield 30 yards to assist in blocking for the receiver and was there to recover the ball. That is all world effort. If I am not mistaken he recovered a fumble against the Giants as well, again downfield.
Lots of folks unfairly compare him to FredBeard and I guess that is sports fans being fans. But this Wisconsin product came out of the same college as FredBeard and the expectations were lofty. It has taken a little time but Tyler Biadasz is now coming into his own. Props to this young man for his hustle and his perseverance at learning his craft at center. He is developing nicely.

Me. Called this all off season when people were screaming for Jerry to make a move and said it wouldn't happen.
Me too. I've said for two years that he's a former Rimington Trophy winner that just needed some time. He replaced Looney back in 2020 after missing all of camp due to COVID protocol, played his first real season in 2021, made the Pro Bowl in 2022, and looks to be better in 2023 at only 25 years old. You can't go wrong with Wisconsin players, they're well recruited and well coached but need some seasoning in the NFL jump. Ferguson is about to make that same jump over the next two seasons in my opinion.

Or it may warrant him leaving and getting a big pay day elsewhere - which should net us a 3rd round comp-pick

Steele has given up zero sacks this season, 1 sack last season, and is one of the best run blocking tackles in the league. When exactly did he look "mostly terrible"?

He looks much improved over the guy who was constantly getting walked back into Dak's lap in pass protection last year. This West Coast pass protection and run blocking seems to be helping the OL quite a bit.

I thought the same thing on that play. Awesome hustle

Go watch the coaches film if you can, Steele has been horrible. And no, he isn't one of the best run blocking tackles. Maybe it's just rust, but there's a reason we're near the bottom in ypc.

Martin and Tyron Smith are dominating as ever, yet we can't run the ball. Steele is probably the biggest reason why.

I watch a guy on youtube who does really good slow-mo play breakdowns, esp. on O and D-linemen.
1) Steele is REALLY good
2) Bass wasn't as bad as I thought. he got smoked on one play by one of the best linemen in the league, but wasn't that far out of position. On other plays, he was solid. Not spectacular.
3) Biadasz is very solid. Super on double team, then getting the linebacker, not as great one on one against a star.
4) If we can get Tyler Smith back and get Steele healthy, this can be a very good, but probably not great (as in the Frederick, Smith in his prime, Martin lines) line. But with Bass and others, Dallas is deeper than I hoped here.

Not one thing you said here was correct. Your opinion that Terence Steele "has been horrible" and that T. Biadasz is "a JAG" leads me to believe you mixed up your "coaches tape" with some sort of home movie for the blind or more likely you just have no idea what you speak of.

He has been good for awhile.
Be interesting to see if he can take the next step up to great.

Biadasz is better than serviceable but it wouldn't prevent me from taking a stud center in next years draft.

Heard there is an excellent incoming Center class which could play into their decision.
