Texas coast helps the O.Line immensly
Ball is out quik, no sustaining long blocks for 4 receivers all running a hook pattern 1 yard short of the sticks

4th season for him. Do the Cowboys have the right to option him a 5th year so he has to stay for it?
All drafted rookies are given four-year contracts to begin their careers -- and teams have the option to extend that contract for a fifth year but only with players selected in the first round.

He has been good all along, just not up to the standard of his predecessor.

That said, if someone wants to make him among the top paid centers in the league after this year, I’m not sure we can afford to match.

Thanks for clarifying. Biadasz is playing for a long term contract next season .... somewhere...

One of the reasons why we as fans would never make a good NFL GM is our habit of overvaluing some players who are essentially good but not great. We love players who are not as good as our fan slightly rose colored glasses make them appear.

I like Biadaz but I’m not that big on making him one of the most highly paid C’s in the game. And there is almost never such a thing as a “hometown discount”. He will probably be offered more in FA next spring than I would pay based on what we will owe some of our great players at market value. Like Lamb and Parsons.

I saw Tyler get blow off the ball in the Jets game on one play. Yet, he still managed to regain his balance and stay in front of the massive DT to give Dak enough time to throw the ball. He’s the ultimate try hard guy that will be the glue that holds this team together.

I was concerned about the change in Oline coaches this offseason. So far so good, with how they are getting by without Tyler Smith and How Biadiasz is playing.

Surprised I haven't seen anyone talk about how good this guy is becoming. In the Jets game on the 30 yard completion to Lamb that Lamb fumbled, how on earth was Biadasz there to recover that fumble? He literally blocked, came off the line after the pass and ran upfield 30 yards to assist in blocking for the receiver and was there to recover the ball. That is all world effort. If I am not mistaken he recovered a fumble against the Giants as well, again downfield.
Uh… He was a Pro bowl alternate last year! Reasonably one could assume he hasn’t exactly been chopped liver!

Biadasz still struggles in space in my opinion. I was watching some cut ups of some runs off tackle and screens where he’s in space and he lacks awareness and plays Patty cake with blockers instead of putting a helmet on them. He is physical when he’s on the line at the point of attack.

I’ll put together some clips when I have a chance.

Right now I'm thinking a decision there will be dependent more upon how Bass develops through this year.

Here I'll trust completely on the evaluations of the coaching staff and where they want to head towards now.

This impressed the heck out of me. His hustle prevented a turnover in scoring range.

He’s improved every year. That’s really the key and we’ve seen it with several guys who were not high picks. The staff is doing a really good job of finding and developing talent outside the first round. When you get 4 plus guys from a draft that’s starter quality in the first 3 years that’s really good.
He isn’t the best against big rushers right over him but even there he’s got better and he certainly plays with hustle

Thats because 98% of the board ranted for two years about how much he sucked. none are man enough to admit they got it all wrong.

This is where I hope Tyler's agent is looking out for his client in more ways than the $$. He could pull a Dalton, or he could just bite the bullet, realize he's solid but no All Pro and have a nice career finish as a Dallas Cowboy on a team that is built to win in all units. On the Cowboys side, maybe we do have some good young talent for once at Oline, but the last of the O-Line Triplets won't be around much longer. Probably wise to have some stability at center while you look for the Tyron/Zack replacements that could be needed at any moment with father time ticking faster.

Contract year. He'll get resigned to a great deal with a great deal of money. Then get hurt in Summer Camp next season....

Steele has given up zero sacks this season, 1 sack last season, and is one of the best run blocking tackles in the league. When exactly did he look "mostly terrible"?
I know what is he watching
