Tyler Booker could be first OL off the board​

This one might shock some, especially those that think Combine testing is the only thing NFL evaluators care about. There are several teams around the NFL that have Booker rated as their top overall offensive lineman in the class. It’s typical for tackles to rise and guards to fall up the board, so it’s possible that ends up hurting Booker in terms of being the top offensive linemen selected.

If he is, however, I would not be shocked at all. Booker is physical, dominant, and has been extremely productive for three seasons now. The 6-4.5, 321-pound force also has some of the best character in the entire class. This is an A+ person, and a very good football player

He will go in the first round. He is a scheme fit mauling guard. He won't be drafted by teams that run a lot of outside zone. Scratch the 49ers and Dolphins off the list of teams that would draft him.

He is a fit for the Cowboys scheme. I don't think they go O-line at 12. They have enough depth at the position already, there are more pressing needs.

I think he can have a better career than Warmack, but he’s definitely a scheme specific OG…and even then he’s a good starter, not a real difference maker

On tape he's probably an early 3rd round guy for me. That's still a starter generally, so it's not like he can't play. Work ethic and character really do matter though, maybe that bumps him up to mid 2nd. Seeing him mocked top 15 is wild.

Might be an RG IMO. But a very good one in out scheme. Id consider him at 44 if he is there

Definitely both.

He played LG at Alabama and shifted outside to LT for one start when Proctor got hurt. There is no reason he couldn't play both LG and RG but Tackle isn't going to be his position in the NFL.
