Tyler Booker is a Cowboy

He could be the next Zack Martin.

A first ballot HOFer.

Winner of 4 Wild Card games when all is said and done.

Great Guards mean nothing without QBs.

Great guards can still make it to the Hall of Fame without quarterbacks. There are plenty of guards who have had successful careers without great quarterbacks and without Superbowl wins. Thats why they call it a team game.

A quarterback is just one player on a team of 53 men. Glad I could help!!

I had the Cowboys going 6-11 or 7-10 next season.

After this pick I have the Cowboys going 6-11 or 7-10 next season.

No impact pick.

That doesn't mean that having a good O line is a bad thing it just means while we had a good offensive line our owner did not choose to participate in free agency and add the rest of the pieces we needed please get a freaking clue.
This is not rocket science.
You build the trenches first the offensive line will protect the new franchise quarterback that you want so badly they will be at their prime seasoned and at their full man weight by the time we draft him this is a good thing.
We had the best OLine in the NFL for over decade and it translated to nothing.

I like Tyler Booker but he would have been on the board at 20. Another guy who will be a good player but poor draft value. I guess Bass is history.

Who said he would have been available at #20 ? Zabel, rated #2 OG was taken at 18. But you know for sure that Booker would have been there at #20. Ok.

Trenches first baby. Remember...Dallas needed to get a run game and stop the run over all other needs at the end of the season. I like it because it's targeting the best approach to improving the team. Go get a tough inside runner, and a good 1T.

I'd also take Schwesinger at 44 to help vs the run.
I see people hype that lb up but I don't see it.

Yeah, but we have to put more focus on the trenches. No quarterback, running back, receiver, linebacker or defensive back can be successful if the trenches aren't solidified

Me too. I’d like to get a quality RB and then focus on defense.
Hopefully that is the plan as it is a good draft for running backs and we should be able to get a quality back later in the draft.

Some of these people just don't understand running backs are a dime a dozen compared to Giant men that are athletic enough to protect your quarterback and give you a solid run game.
When they are there you need to draft them they make everything else on your offense work.

Also could send a message to Guyton and Steele. Tyler S can play LT and then Bass/Hoffman can compete for the other guard spot. There's a couple ways the oline could shake out and have a strong line. Get a good 1T and a RB tomorrow night. It's great having a good oline. Now concentrate on having a stout dline
Maybe your correct
Play best five on the line
If that’s the case move smith to LT and play Booker Beene and Hoffman or Bass

Maybe Guyton is best moved to RT where he played in College

Micah Parsons and the bleacher report crew are interviewing Tyler Booker now. I am not gonna lie. I like where the young guy head is at. Dude got me pumped up from the couch. And he has good energy. He talked about his favorite thing about playing football is watching the guy across from him love for the game leave his eyes. lol

I am coming around to the pick. I believe I had my heart set on a skilled position after investing in the oline so much already.

I've seen a LOT of mock drafts. Nobody had Booker mocked this high. When Dallas drafted him, Grey Zabel made a lot of money. It's rare to draft a G this high. I hope he's Quinten Nelson and not Chance Warmack.
