Yeah, I have more faith in him than I do in Mazi.Call me crazy, but I still have faith in Guyton and think he will improve quite a bit.

Agree huge X factory this season, might not be atop of the list, but sure close to it!The Cowboys had a good offseason. Strong draft and now Pickens. The biggest X factor for the Cowboys is Guyton. He had a subpar rookie year and his level of play is unacceptable for a starting LT. He needs to make a major leap forward for the Cowboys to truly have a chance this year. Hopefully Klayton Adams + the Cowboys strength and conditioning staff can help Guyton elevate his performance.
Yeah was just gonna say this; KC made the SB with their OG playing LTGuyton isn’t as important as you think. Mazi contributing is more important. Asim Richards or moving Tyler Smith to LT would work fine. But the depth at DT is questionable at best.
Exactly. It would be HUGE if he stepped up & locked down the LT spot but they can cover the position if he doesn't.Guyton isn’t as important as you think. Mazi contributing is more important. Asim Richards or moving Tyler Smith to LT would work fine. But the depth at DT is questionable at best.
Dak fans are the only people that don't think the QB position is the most important in sports. We all know they won't dare put that on Dak's shoulder.
They want Dak to get paid while also having a juggernaut roster around him on the salary cap era.Dak fans are the only people that don't think the QB position is the most important in sports.
They don't know football at all. They want Dak to get paid while also having a juggernaut roster around him on the salary cap era.
Good points. I think Guyton has a much higher ceiling, but Richards has a decent floor. I really like what I have seen of him. Also, as you said, we know T Smith can always move outside and be a top 10 LT from the start.Guyton isn’t as important as you think. Mazi contributing is more important. They need to go on and move him to the right.Huge. They desperately need this guy to develop into a player.
There is some truth in this, but it's not just Guyton. If only Guyton struggles, they could still have a good offense. We need Steele to play better. As long as Guyton can keep the penalties under control, they can slide by with subpar play from just him.The Cowboys had a good offseason. Strong draft and now Pickens. I don't think Mazi will even be in the league next yearI agree to a large extent that Guyton and Mazi's growth are important to seeing team improvement. However, I think the biggest question remains can Dak rebound? Guyton can obviously help with getting him better protection, and Mazi can help with getting the defense off the field but a lot is on Dak's shoulders.
I agree. I don’t think he was quite as terrible as some comments indicate.Call me crazy, but I still have faith in Guyton and think he will improve quite a bit.
