Tell your dad to spend some of the cap THIS season.

ahhh, someone pissed because Stephen and McClay got it right. they didn't need to spend anymore, they spent plenty and so far, it's working:flagwave:

That was a Larry Allen move right there. Knocking people down like bowling pins and leading the back. Tyler has really impressed me how good he has become so early in the season, and at LT to top it off. I thought it might take him half or more of the season to get into a groove. But he certainly has improved each week. He will take over for Tyron as of now.

Graphic on MNF . 71% of roster are internal draft picks highest in NFL . Now it needs to translate . Smith was a very solid pick while I saw Evan Neal acting as matador on the opposite side for Giants .

Smith is a freakin beast. Will only get better with games played confidence. Say what you want on how he was a wasted draft pick but he is looking like a steal at #24!

He's playing as a rookie like I hoped he would play in year 2 or 3. Saw a raw powerhouse with a good attitude and tons of potential coming out of college, but he's playing like an all-pro more often than not. Excellent pick!

i really hope he is not playing at this level in year 3.he should be playing like Tyron with perfect technique.

He doesnt look 325 pounds and definitely moves like a smaller player. A lot of times when O Lineman get second level they more get in the way, than really flatten people. Tyler is good at hitting moving targets downfield and seems to love contact.

I would imagine we will see substantial improvement as his technique and understanding of the system improve. What I'm saying is I didn't expect to see this level of play for a couple of years, much less right our the gate after an offseason of practicing a different position.

Honestly I would have gone OC Tyler Linderbaum at that pick but pretty pleased with Tyler Smith

i admit i was pushing for Utah LB Devin Floyd, who went to Jacksonville with the 27th pick,..
i heard that had we not taken Tyler, the Tennessee Titans were poised to snatch him up

and i admit that i wasn't pleased with the Tyler Smith pick either. But he is really making me eat serious crow in being wrong about him.
His power and explosiveness is remarkable.

Dude is so naturally Jethro Bodine country strong !
And to think he hasn't even hit an NFL offseason strengthening program yet.

Down right scary .!! :D

Obviously it’s important for the kid to have a good skill set but I think what I like the most about him is his attitude and hustle. He plays to the whistle and is mean as hell. We need more players just like this.

Nah, Tyler Smith will be better.

I was not upset with the pick just not the guy who I felt Dallas would pick. With teams ahead of Dallas selecting Green, Zion Johnson, and Penning. I felt Linderbaum would be the selection. Was not upset that they took Tyler Smith

On a side note, considering that Tyler weighs ~320, what does Jason Peters weigh?
- Tyler looks like a CB next to him and Biadasz looks like a middle school kid on the other side of Peters...
