There's a big difference in switching from LG to LT and switching from LT to RT. Staying on the left side at either position doesn't really affect effectiveness. Switching to the other side is like a left-hander trying to switch to writing with his right hand and can diminish effectiveness. After years of being on the left side, Tyron even struggled with it some despite having started off as a right tackle.

We need to develop him at Left Tackle. Tyron won't be here forever.

Didn't take long for Tyler to become one of my current favorites. I do believe however that Tyler would like to be firmly established as the team starting LT in time for contract number two as that would maximize his pay day.
