Run behind him. Problem solved.
No, we're running behind Zach Martin because his back is failing and then we're abandoning the Run. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Smith is playing close to the original 73 and can play left tackle as well, just like Allen. I think he's the best offensive lineman in football. I really hope this is the last Hall of Famer we waste because he's definitely going to be one on this trajectory.

AND YET PFF says he is only average in pass protection according to their metric.
NOW I do think he needs to be better in the run game but I think its more a case of the scheme than him
Not really...Hes rated as one of the best pass players in the league at G by PFF. His score dips because of the Pittsburgh game where he bumped out to T. He gave up 2 penalties, 3 pressures and a sack that game.

PFF has his numbers at G basically the same as NFL+ does.

Yet numerous people on this forum want us moving 3 OL around and expect better results.

It is pretty clear why Jerry and company want him playing guard.
Yea ....I think you leave him there
RT and RG will be the focus going forward........

Our problem isn’t finding OL in round 1. It’s every round after lol. I believe Doug free is the exception but even he took multiple years to become elite
Beebe looks promising. I'm also still curious to see how TJ Bass develops.

Neither one is all that valid. When you only use numbers and nothing else, you will always make mistakes

IIRC he was the lineman they had that practiced poorly but was better on gameday.
When he got his shot to play, that's when they realized he could be a starter.

No, he can't. Tyler is more like BIGG, and all pro OG, but just an OK OT. Putting him at OT would waste his talent playing him out of position.
