i said this on Twitter and I got ripped apart by NFL media members, employees, fans, Duke manyweather and others. Apparently HOF players get the right to refuse to play a certain position and I’m a clown and would make a horrible coach that nobody would want to play for because I said the coach has final say so

What news do you have to dispute this report?

Have you been out practice. Who else are they putting at LT beside Tyler? This report certainly supports some of the comments we’ve heard from Stephen.

We know it’s not a done deal yet but until we hear those reports this is one which aligns.

Which is a problem because if nobody wants to play for you then nobody is going to play for you and you are not going to win. There are times to put the foot down and times to give a little.

This is going to be fun to watch. Kid was a project coming out of college especially at tackle. Then on top of that has taken what a weeks worth of reps at the position in rookie camp. This coaching staff and front office is a joke

Much like Connor Williams, cross training Tyler Smith at LT should have been a no brainer.

But we got no brains the front office, so there you go.

He honestly tho should have taken zero reps at LT because the kid cant play tackle his hand placement is too poor. There should have been a better plan in place knowing tyron gets injured every year. Just like we never had a backup qb when romo was here knowing he was getting injured.

I believe Smith is the first rookie to ever start a game in NFL history, man I hope he does well. He will be playing against all of those mean and nasty experienced pros. I am kind of afraid to watch!

Tyler Smith will be the only dude to overcome a high ankle sprain in three weeks and start at LT with zero reps. What could go wrong?

Well, it is a mild high ankle sprain and he did get reps at tackle in OTAs, but yeah ...

Honestly, I'm more worried about McGovern getting thrown around than Tyler. We should run the ball behind Tyler that's his strength right now IMO.

Agreed. Tyler is going to get priority chips from both the tightends and runningbacks on alot of pass downs. I'm more worried about McGovern getting destroyed by Vita Vea
