With Tyler Smith out, if Tyron struggles or can’t make it through the game our offense could end up looking like it’s stuck in the mud. I’m starting to get a queasy feeling about this game.

Compared to our opening day offense last season we’re minus Zeke, Dalton Schultz, and Tyler Smith. However, we have Tyron, but he’s hobbling and might not make it through the game. With no preseason snaps from our starters I’ll be more than a little surprised if we look efficient offensively.

I’m actually happy we now have a quick passing game

I will say this…

During the Garrett era if anyone was hurt you felt it. They were terrible with scheming to adjust for injuries. Really terrible. Since Big Mike took over I see a noticeable difference in adjusting to help cover for injuries.

True, but Dak and Cooks have yet to take a snap in a game together. Live game reps, especially on opening day is a little different than practice reps. Plus we have a new offense. We should have given our starters at least a couple of series in preseason to work out a few of the kinks. I’m fully expecting a few bumps on offense.
