What are your thoughts on this young man. He's had a few bad things happen, but not to the magnitude these draft experts thought he would. To me, I see a bright bright future in him. He's strong, nasty, and he works hard. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much he's growing throughout the season.

Please give your thoughts on him

He’s played well. He’s raw, he’s 21… he’s playing LT , practiced mostly at LG all summer.. he’s got a bright future. Steele man he’s freaking awesome as a run blocker man. He’s really improved too

He's been outstanding.

I don't even hear about pressure coming from the left side. He is amazing good already.

The future of our line looks bright if he remains healthy. The question is if he is an serviceable left tackle that could be an All-Pro Guard or could he develop into good left tackle.

Cowboys offensive MVP is you consider what would have happened if Josh Ball was the starting LT all season...

FYI, Peters played LT with Tyler at LG at the end of the game.

Above average in the the run game and below average in the pass pro game.

If he moves to LG think he has the potential to be an all pro. Not at LT.

/He's been good...for a rookie. Great pick and his potential...sky's the limit. I expect to have our LT of the future for the next 10 years....

But to put things in perspective....they had him playing some guard today. They seem to be prepping for a Tyron Smith return and moving him to guard.

I think he's doing well. Don't hear his number being called for holding like at the beginning of the season.
He's gonna be a good'un.

Outstanding run blocker. Very good pass blocker. When his pass blocking catches up to his run blocking he will be all pro. The Cowboys O Line one of the top run blocking units in the league.

Linemen take a while to get going. Andrew Thomas was a 2x All-American who came into the NFL with about as clean of a projection as possible, and he didn't reach his potential until year 3.

Tyler Smith is a pretty league average tackle now, but league average is a big win for how raw he was coming in. IMO, he has shown enough to remain as the starting left tackle into next season and continue to develop. After 2-3 seasons, we will know what we have with him.

Great pick and he's only going to get better.

Really this entire draft class outside of Jalen Tolbert has been fantastic and even he still has time.

He looks like a solid potential RT once Tyron gets back into form. Hopefully we can jettison Steele ASAP and plug Tyler Smith there...

Tolbert got a solid catch in garbage time today from Rush. I believe it was the first of his career.
