Tyler Smith is currently signed though 2030 at 24m AAV. The current top 5 OT's AAV range from 28 million to 25 million. So his contract shouldn't be an issue if he switches to LT full time.

Its worth noting that he is also only 24. So when he is ready for an extension, he will still very much be in his prime
 
He’d be the 9th highest-paid T in the game with contract. And the 9 guys ahead of him are DAWGS!!!!!

Move Thomas to guard. Cut Steele. Smith, Thomas, Beebe, Booker, Guyton should be our line next season. Sign a couple guys for depth.

I think Thomas could be serviceable guard. Bass will probably get first crack though. We are solid at left tackle, center, and right guard. That is more then enough.
