For what it's worth... I think Tet and Tyler Warren carry similar grades as far as being pure football players, and they're both really damn good. There's very little chance that either one busts in the NFL. I'd say they're both like 90% certain to become quality starters.
But if we're talking about Warren versus some of the shakier WRs in this class, like say Matthew Golden or Luther Burden (IMO), then the math changes. Say there's a 50% chance that Luther Burden becomes a Brandin Cooks type player and puts up a bunch of 1,000 yard seasons, and a 50% chance that he's a Rondale Moore type player and becomes a fringe NFLer. Warren's expected value is higher than Burden, even if he plays a less valuable position.
I'd take Tet over Warren no sweat. Egbuka vs Warren would be a push, but I'd probably go with Warren just because he has more special traits. I'd happily take Warren over Burden, Golden, and Bond.
On a side note, I think this is one of the things the Detroit Lions have stumbled upon. They draft a lot of "no chance this guy will suck" players, and part of it's Dan Campbell culture building, but I think they realized that the NFL doesn't weight risk heavily enough for draft prospects. Medical, legal, character, etc risks with college players tend to show up pretty often in the pros, and bite pretty hard. We've seen that with all the Jerry 2nd round specials.
