When pressed on this issue, Jerry said he would not trade Tyron's current situation for a more healthy one.
I can understand sticking with Tyron, who is still one of the highest rated Tackles in the game and is actually pretty cost effective with his deal. What I can't understand is how unprepared we are for him to miss time. He's going to miss time, we know this, and we have Edoga as our back up? Some of his plays on Sunday were inexplicable, I mean a T always takes the outside guy and several times Edoga let the outside guy go untouched and went inside.
The unpreparedness for Tyron going down is what is unforgivable. I wanted Torrence in the 2nd round last draft, have him start out on the bench and get his bearings, then when Tyron went down move Tyler back to LT and inset Torrence at LG. Torrence has been very good for the Bills, still has to learn to pass block better but dude is a bull in the run game. Imagine Tyler and Torrence on that left side for the next decade. Shell/Upshaw type potential.

Only in Dallas would amazing depth not be enough.

Damn last time I heard about shots in the back is right before Romo retired. This has to be the end of Tyron this season....
He gave it a go but his body is just breaking down. I blame the front office for not doing the right thing and moving Tyler Smith to LT and get a replacement left guard. Can't have your franchise QB play with a question mark at LT.

does nothing. I have had them and it doesn't work. Shrugs, I keep working with the pain. I have 2 messed up discs and bone spurs growing off a couple. No pain, no gain.
"No pain, no gain" from a medical standpoint when your body has a legitimate issue it's dealing with is one of the most inbred backward line of thinking comment someone could ever state.

Don't get me wrong, get stuck behind enemy lines or in a firefight and you darn well better deal with any potential pain if you want to stay alive, but for a sport?

Never cried when I was in a burn unit for a couple of weeks. I can remember laying on the floor crying due to my back, found out I had to get cut open for it.

I get that. I have cirrhosis so not many meds I can take. The osteoarthritis in my knee is one of the most painful things I've felt until a recent bout of sciatica and lower back pain.

For knee only real help is RFA where they burn nerves off helps until they regenerate. Nothing has helped the Sciatica though.
I am sorry about the pain, I pray it gets better. My dad was a brick mason, and I had to do the labor for him when I was younger. My brother is a brick mason still and is 62 years old. I try to help him on my days off. He's had all the arteries in his heart replaced a valve worked on and his hip needs to be replaced. My dad was a rough man but he taught us how to work.

I've had them. The short-needle version didn't do much more me, but the long-needle one did, though even that one didn't last all that long.

There is so much micro-trauma a human body can take before the body collapses. NFL players are freaks of nature to sustain blows most humans would suffer catastrophic spine injuries. Tyron has played in the NFL since he was 20 at an unprecedented level of greatness. He belongs on the All-Time Cowboy OL, with Rayfield Wright at RT, Nate Newton and Larry Allen at guard and T. Fred at center. Let us honor his greatness and enjoy his hopeful last few games and place him into the ring of honor next year. What a great player!!!

JJ Watt, of Tyron's same draft class, already retired. We need to hit big on an OL draftee, another Tyler Smith type to plug and play at LG next year, moving the real Tyler to LT.

Too bad Connor Williams and Connor McGivern were not good enough to be star offensive linemen. Too bad Lael Collins had to have hip surgery which destroyed his OL talent and took away strength and agility. Whenever an NFL player has hip surgery, that is their end. I remember Tyrone Crawford had that surgery and played like he was on roller skates, always rolled back 5-7 yards, but Jerry loved him.

One last note for the younger fans, LDE Too Tall Jones never missed a game due to injuries in his entire career.

Remember the athlete freak of nature Byron Jones. He had 1st round plus athletic ability, great cover corner, but no INT's, plus +++ intelligence and character. In two seasons with the Dolphins, his body was completely destroyed and he had to retire. Remember 1st round Mike Sherrard,1986, the blazing speed, to rejuvenate Danny White's offense? He could not avoid broken bones. The Boys then had to draft Michael Irvin in 1988 who gave us greatness for many years until a bad neck injury force him to retire after the 1999 season (33 years old).

Our own D Lawrence had major shoulder surgery and since then has never restored himself to a 10+ sack season, but has become a great run defender.

The miracle man Drew Brees had a shoulder injury so bad, 100% torn labrum, no one as QB or baseball pitcher had ever came back to greatness, until him. Today, he cannot lift his right shoulder without pain and cannot throw with his right arm. I also had a torn labrum, one-third, and I could no longer throw as I used to. I have the same symptoms as Drew Brees, but without his $100 million net wealth.

Yeah it’s criminal….unless the plan is to get your QB drilled.

This team lacks clear direction from the from office that's why we wasted a 2nd round on a TE. Areas where an upgrade was needed was the swing tackle and neglected it. TE wasn't a critical position going into the draft, dumping a premium pick with so many needs is incomprehensible.
