Tyron got an injection in his back

does nothing. I have had them and it doesn't work. Shrugs, I keep working with the pain. I have 2 messed up discs and bone spurs growing off a couple. No pain, no gain.
They work for me for 2-3 months. Then I get another and repeat the process

Out of curiosity does your job entail several collisions that mimic car accidents every week?

I love with pain every day from multiple things and not a lot does help, but I'd never compare working thru my pain sitting at a desk to what OT in NFL deal with.
I don't sit at a desk. I doubt I could. Injections or pills don't work. Pain, it's just a way of life now. My wife friends husband got addicted to the pain meds and screwed his liver up. He passed away this year

I get that. I have cirrhosis so not many meds I can take. The osteoarthritis in my knee is one of the most painful things I've felt until a recent bout of sciatica and lower back pain.

For knee only real help is RFA where they burn nerves off helps until they regenerate. Nothing has helped the Sciatica though.

We need to go heavy on the O-line next year. Could be needing a starting LT and Center. Also need a LB / CB depth, and a RB to replace Pollard. I like Pollard but unless its a cheaper contract, I think we have to go to the draft.

Sorry you're dealing with that, those are tough injuries. However, these injections impact everyone differently. Some respond very well to them, while others it may have minimal benefit so we'll have to see what it does for Tyron.

And this is why I don't mind when NFL players hold out for the biggest payday while dumb fans cry about a player not giving a discount.

Most of these players will feel bodily pain for the rest of their lives. So for all the idiots who say that Dak, Zeke, D-Law, etc, etc, etc, is overpaid..... just remember how owners use them up and spit them out.

And the same losers who claim that players are overpaid, you wouldn't refuse any additional money you could make if you were in their shoes either.

So does Tyron, I'm sure.

That will hopefully calm down the inflammation and nerves but I would not go back to the activities that produced the inflammation.

I wish an injection would of worked for me but the one I got in my back did nothing.

Here is what my back looks like

I'm pretty sure they get a much different drug in their shots than you did. :)

When pressed on this issue, Jerry said he would not trade Tyron's current situation for a more healthy one.
Well, with Jerry’s impressive post-season track record the past 28 seasons, “trust in the fuhrer”.
