How did the other ex cowboys look? I saw Dan Quinn defense was awful
He is old, with a lot of mileage as well. Thought he should have retired instead of going after another paycheck. Don’t think he needs the money, but who knows.
And I don’t keep up with any ex cowboys, who cares.

I always wonder if Jerry has a backdoor deal with some of those guys. Hey, you take a little less here, then come back and see me three years after retirement, and we will have a nice cushy job working for the team for 20 years.I'll still root for him as long as it doesn't impact the Cowboys negatively. Always loved him as a player and as a person. I also really appreciate what a team friendly deal he took, and how he played it out like a man.
He looks old because he is old but the real question with him is can he play 17 gamesFunny stuff. Everyone here saying he looked old but no mention of why or how many sacks he gave up! Thx…
Exactly and he also might have wanted to keep doing the only thing he’s ever known.Tyron played on a team friendly deal with the cowboys for like a decade. So I actually totally understand him accepting the 6.5 mil the jets wanted to pay him.
I am pretty sure he was looking for a ring more than money but some people do think that wayHe is old, with a lot of mileage as well. Thought he should have retired instead of going after another paycheck. Don’t think he needs the money, but who knows.

I would not be surprised that this does not happen in a lot of teams. Quite promises for after they retireI always wonder if Jerry has a backdoor deal with some of those guys. giving up what you have done for most of your life is tough to doRetirement has to be tough for a lot of players.
Knowing they’ll never play again.
