Tyron looked old against the niners

He is old, with a lot of mileage as well. Thought he should have retired instead of going after another paycheck. Don’t think he needs the money, but who knows.

And I don’t keep up with any ex cowboys, who cares.
His contract with the Boys was well below his market value for years until he fell off. It was the best bargain for about 5 years

I was going to post something about this. Tyron was getting beat with speed outside. Sometimes the DE went so wide on him he couldn't get back to the QB though. What I did notice is once Tyron got his hands on the DEs, they were stoned. Tyron is still strong. Also, he wasn't getting any help with Bosa. He took him on one on one. Certainly, he is at the end of his career, but he is still very good. I would like to see him go one on one with Garrett.

The Jets surprised me with how bad they were against the 49ers. The defense could not stop the run and allowed some huge holes right up the middle. I thought defense would be their strength this year.
the niners line and shanahans play design accounts for a lot. didn't help that they lost sauce early on either.

Going against Bosa, not too many OT's will look good.

Willing to see how he does over the year.

Hard Dislike.
Tyron played no more than 13 games in a season since 2015.
2020: 2 games --10 million cash
2021: 11 games --10.5 m cash
2022: 4 games -- 13.5M cash

So he was playing for insane money per game.
He had a great year in 2023. 13 games, made All Pro and he jetted.
2023: 7.3M cash. The ONE year he was an actual bargain.

Tyron is a future Hall of Famer but he also made over 120M with the Dallas Cowboys.
From 2014 to 2022 he NEVER made less than 10M in cash in a single year.

You may not like it. But Tyron was underpaid relative to other LT’s in the league.

I did key on him many times and I was shaking my head on more than one occasion. I couldn't believe how easily he got beat but he also showed flashes of why he was one of the best left tackles of all time.

He's looked this way in the first couple of weeks for a long time.

The first month of the season is his training camp.
Agreed. He was rated as the 3rd best tackle yesterday. He allowed zero everything (penalties, QB pressures, sacks) and looked great in run blocking.

Like you said this has happened before, looks a little shaky starting out then goes back to being a wall. Patriots who they play on Thursday don't have anywhere close to 49ers d-line so once again he should look solid.

Helps not playing a Bosa lol.

I didn't see the game to speak to his movement, but yea the results definitely seem better.

going up against Bosa after missing a fair amount of camp is going to not be pretty
