Sucks to see Tyron's career have to flicker out like this, but the guy needs to just hang them up. It's been a fun ride, but it's over.

Cowboys absolutely need to address this in the next draft.

What do you mean address it ??!!

they've been addressing it yearly every offseason including like already having our left tackle of the future if needed his name is Tyler Smith I believe his number 73 maybe you missed that he played left tackle all last year?????

than add in this one a Asim Richards, bass, Edoga, Hoffman, and others plus we have Waletzgo and some more guys on here that we can literally develop they're here this is what they're getting is some experience... I mean you do realize you have to develop players these players are here there are some young players on this team that are gonna be developed and eventually you're gonna have to let them play and they're not all gonna be Hall of Fame Pro Bowl tackles and guards you'd literally have to develop them into at least a functioning good solid player... By the way I like what I've seen Richards looks like and I bet with some experience he might be something...

I mean you act like they haven't brought any new offensive lineman in in years and uh maybe you got to look around they've been addressing the line on a yearly basis and by the way no draft picks that guarantee so you can hold out hope in one hand and drop a big load in the other and see which one weighs more...

By the way calling it flickering like no other player has ever finished their career trying to hold on it happens all over the league all the time and by the way with 70 sevens actually playing he's still one of our top lineman mean he can't stay on the field for very long is an issue but if we could somehow milk this out and he is held out most games plays a few games when needed against the best teams and in the playoffs he may have his final run may not be a flicker it could be going out in style... I mean you should not see Emmitt Smith try to go to the Cardinals and finish up his career it happens all the time guys stay too long...

Yeah, its odd as hell.

Apparently he stepped on a blade of grass during that walkthrough practice and blew his knee out.

I knew he was never going to play a full schedule, but dam, he is done by week 3.................I have a half used roll of Charmin in my bathroom that is more durable than this guy, wow:facepalm:
Lol, it’s the NFL, it’s unlikely anyone playing that position whose been in the league more than 5 seasons is going to play a full schedule. Hell, even our 2nd year player isn’t going to. Miami handed Armstead a 84m contract 64m guaranteed last year… he’s missed more games than Tyron in fewer seasons. N O is having issues with their 1st round replacement getting torched. Maybe, you greatly underestimate the value GMs place on players that can shutdown that left side, even if it’s just for 10 or 12 games!

The organization had Cyrus sitting on the draft board and instead drafted a blocking TE.

And you guys wonder why this team has not got past the divisional round in 30 years:laugh:
Good, you don’t draft a guard who’s relegated to only play a man blocking scheme to play in your predominantly zone blocking scheme. Torrence was reportedly torched opening night and Buffalo has now had to slide protection help over to him. Heavy foot and poor balance!

Draft a left tackle or left guard and release Tyron Smith in the off season.
