Have your opinions changed so far about this kid? Do you still see a perennial pro-bowler? Is he in a sophomore slump or will he turn out to be JAG.
Thoughts?

I thought I remember him playing that position in college. I was wrong I guess.

Would like to see team obtain a LT in FA or the draft. Let them both compete for LT and then one plays LT the other RT. This would basically give us two LTS in case of an injury to the starting LT. Free would be the back-up swing tackle, at least until we can get out from under his contract. Might even look at Free at guard. Top ranked center, with guard play capabilities(Barrett Jones), and our Offense problems will be a long way toward being solved with only two players.BTX;4772905 said:Even if he doesn't pan out at LT (I think he will) we know he's a darn good RT and he could be moved back there if LT doesn't work out. When we cut ties with Free if he doesn't improve.
