That is complete garbage that Dak has had time like that. All you have to do is watch the games to know that. If Dak is running for his life that is counting as time to throw. No chance he has had the 3rd most time to throw then any QB. In the first half last week on like 20 drop backs he was sacked 3 times and pressured on 12 of 20 drop backs. Total and complete garbage.
I haven't missed a game in almost two decades. Dak has been under some pressure, but he's also had all the time in the world quite a bit. He holds the ball too long because he can't read a defense and carries himself into sacks constantly. The video evidence is out there. It's even posted in several threads on this forum. The offensive line has had its struggles, but 75% of the blame for the passing game lies with Dak and the coaches.
Remarkable how so many other QBs in the league don't need an elite offensive line in front of them to be productive isn't it?

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/201...-which-shows-tremendous-rebound-from-week-oneGo ahead and look across the NFL for real and you will see plenty of bad performances all over the place.
And so many other QB's arent in the beginning of their third year either. And it appears that Cowboys receivers are some of the worst in the NFL as a unit with the TE's. And we all know how horrid Garrett and the coaching is.
So really you arent comparing apples to apples here. So what does Dak have exactly to fall back on?
-Oline=No
-Pass catchers=no
-coaching=no
-Run game=Sometimes
-Experience=no
Better get used to it.
He has been pretty horrid this year. What's his deal? Is it:
1.) Nagging injuries?
2.) Complacency?
3.) Lack of motivation from the coaches?
4.) Declining skills?
I said years ago he was only a little better than Free

The Seahawks had Dak's cadence down and were getting off the ball quicker than the Ts. Not that coaching or QB play would be able to counteract that stuff.

You really blaming the O-line more than the QB? Yeah, you're an apologist.
FelixHe's the oldest 27 year old I have ever seen.

The cowboys paying him 17.5 is actually their fault for restructuring a few years back when they mismanaged the cap. The average value of his deal is 12 million a year which doesn't even make him top 5 highest paid at his position. No, Tyron hasn't been "horrid".
That said Tyron Smith is paid handsomely by the Cowboys, to the tune of a $17.5m cap hit this season, to be the best of the best.
thank you
A few years ago Free was a turnstile and Tyron was the best LT in the league. Even now he's still miles better than what free was in his last couple years. Free was good at run blocking but awful in pass protection.

Elite? This OL right now isn't even very functional.
Zeke is ripping runs everywhere and Dak has the third highest average time before pressure in the league. Yeah, not very functional. Ok...
