Tyrone Crawford and Dontari Poe have been placed on the active/physically unable to perform list. Crawford had double hip surgery last offseason and Poe had quadriceps surgery before signing with the Cowboys as a free agent. The Cowboys will not have their first padded practice until mid-August, so both players will have more time for rehab. https://t.co/Yjxsexh634" / Twitter

Not much to see here. We'd do that with anyone who had any sort of surgery as there is no need for them to be active until practices start.

Wonder if they're both out of shape and can't pass the conditioning test?

Cut Crawford as soon as he passes the physical.

    This is beyond ridiculous.

That gets us down to 83, I believe (if we started at 90). Canady (opt out), Guidry (opt out), Jon'Vea Johnson (reserve/COVID), Chunn (waived injured), Marino (waived ill), Crawford (PUP) and Poe (PUP).

I think active/pup still counts unless they've changed it this year.

He really cheers up the medical staff.

You can't put a number on what he brings to the organization.

    Or something like that.

Did not know Poe was injured or healing from an injury or surgery. Was it anything serious?

Until Sept. 5, just before the season starts, then it's fish or cut bait.
At the cutdown to 53 players, any player on A/PUP or A/NFI, they must choose to place the player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/NonFootball Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List.

Quad surgery missed the last 5 games. Not expected to impact his availability this season.

There is absolutely no reason for Crawford to be on this team this year. No reason last year either. Especially with all the money needed to roll over next year when the cap is $175M so cut Crawford and roll the money saved to next year.

Jerry, you can still give Crawford money if you want. Just set up a personal services contract and he can wash your yacht for $10M if you like him so much. Or, make him a DL coach or something if you want.

So sick of Crawford stealing money which should be going to others.

Still waiting for that promised restructured contract on Crawford so many here claimed would happen.

The reality is this team overvalues Crawford and thinks he's still a good bargain even at that ridiculous cap number. But in fairness, he's going to be our starting RDE. LOL.

How far you roll with Crawford...they like him and his versatility but if he’s not on the field...I mean if a dog gets hurt every time you hunt him and even though you have confidence in him and you wanna keep counting on him...gotta know when to say when.
When. Cut Crawford and run a young dog.

crawford should be cut. Dude makes too much money to basically do nothing.
Cutting him saves $8 million i believe.
