Back in the day what Crawford did would almost be applauded as a boys will be boys kerfuffle lol...and shiet...many times the cops would escort the player back to his home or apt and just be cool about it. My father told me many a story like Crawfords where he was in some bar fights...and even got behind the wheel..while drinking..(not condoning this)...gets pulled over..and the police officer actually escorted him home more than once and even sat down with him and had a brew on his couch! Those were vastly different times. NFL players are not immune to being blockheads when drinking. Its nothing any worse than has been happening since day 1.

Goodell was already on the job regarding him, probably figuring out how many games this warranted. If you read their conduct policy, this is the unforgivable sin, a large strong man using brute force or intimidation.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt because he doesn't have this history but the manager had let them stay, just not inside after they wouldn't stop harassing a female bartender, which will get some play with Goodell as well.

We haven't seen anything like this before and we know how video sells. Would not surprise me if he got 10 games. Crawford can come back when some thought Elliott would.

I was going to blame @MizzouCowboy4 . He starts that thread on Wednesday and now this video surfaces to confirm Crawford is a bum according to him. Interesting "coincidence."

Yep! It was him! Definitely him!

wow, way more than I saw originally! Yeah he's getting at least 1 game, probably 2.

Smart, but brutal move would be to cut him. You'd get his salary off the books and save $6 million. He can serve his suspension and nobody will be hot after him after that so if you wanted to, you could bring him back for cheap. But don't get locked into his salary for the year and then have to do without a player on your active roster for however long his suspension lasts. There's an opportunity to do what's best for the team here.

I think those officers might be in trouble for not arresting him. His behavior clearly warrants it. He sure showed "leadership" in those videos. 'Lead' the fight from one end of the bar to the other.
I imagine they're on the hot seat right now and the manager might be as well for not kicking them off the property when they first got into trouble at the bar with the bartender.

I've never heard of anything like that. Got some guys harassing your female bartender and he lets them stay as long as they stay outside and continue to drink. What could possible go wrong with that? What if he had accidentally hit an innocent bystander, like one of those women, swinging wildly like that? He's big enough to knock somenone into a coma or worse.

If I am Goodell, I hit him with the maximum as an example and the NFLPA should walk softly with that video out and them wanting some public love in this upcoming CBA.

I think Crawford was pretty drunk. And the bouncers still "didn't want none"..... these NFL guys are barely human with thier size, speed and strength. I damn sure don't want none.

Video always makes things a bigger deal than reports do, that's for sure.

And this thing was mishandled in so, so many ways. It's a wonder with a guy as big as Crawford is swinging wildly like that that someone wasn't seriously, seriously hurt.

Those bouncers were clearly untrained in managing the conflict and doing their jobs, and the police officers weren't much help diffusing or controlling it either. Incompetence all over the place. But one things is for certain. Crawford's behavior certainly warranted being subdued and arrested.

I can't help but to wonder about the timing of this video's release as well?
