Crawford applies pressures, but doesn't get the sack. He is the least of our worries at this time. We should focus on our putrid secondary (Carr & Church) before the D-line. The D-line this year is actually applying pressure.

Last time i checked giants offense put 13 points only on their field .. I think defense is the last item to check when going through issues

You letting Wilcox off the hook?

He turned in an absolute doosey yesterday with 0 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 0 passes defensed.

Church is what he is -- a slow UDFA who has maximized his limited athleticism. What excuses does Wilcox have at this point in his career?

Im not letting anyone off the hook. I think Wilcox still has some time to develop. I think Church and Carr cause the majority of the issues with secondary. If Wilcox had a decent safety next to him it would help him tremulously.

Thru 6 games he has 7 tackles and 2 sacks. Teams are also having success running up the middle. His contract is looking to be a mistake.

He's on pace for 5-6 sacks. Better than anyone else at DT the past 3 years. It's not like you have to double any of the other DT's on the roster.

He got more money than Murray without the production as Murray. Terrible contract all around.

Two big mistakes by the FO so far. Letting Murray go and signing Ty Crawford to a big contract.

His not as good as Hatcher. At least Hatcher had speed to get to the QB.

Don't blame Crawford for the Cowboys ruining another player. He was drafted to play as a strong side DE....but because they lacked any DTs of worth...they moved him there to get their best players on the field.

He and Lawerence should be splitting reps on the left side.....

But hey.....It's not the 1st time the Cowboys have ruined a decent player.:(

Not that you would have a biased opinion or anything Mr Boise State.

He's alright. Sometimes he makes plays sometimes he doesnt. Young and a jag right now but maybe that will change.

Too early to call his contract a mistake.

Having said that, at times, it seems like he is missing some situational awareness. He is amazing off the snap but RBs just seem to run past him without much notice from Crawford.

He might actually need to slow it down a slight bit. Is that a crazy thought?

No. It is a very astute observation. He needs to play smarter.

Hasn't been awful but frankly, I've been disappointed. Based on the props people gave him, I expected a more disruptive player in the middle. He hasn't been that.

I've noticed that. Crawford is always trying to get upfield and get after the quarterback.

Stay in your gap and be more disciplined and sound.
His job is to get upfield after the quarterback.

Marinelli is, has always been, and will always be fine with the 3 tech overrunning some handoffs if it means they are getting penetration.
