tyrone smith vs JPP

Not sure it was mentioned here yet, but DeMarcus Ware said after a recent practice that Tyron Smith "is the only guy that has ever completely shut me down".

Coming from D-Ware, it's a super compliment but an even better sign for Smith.

Lol? Then who is. JPP is easily the second best PR in this division.

I would take Trent Cole over 1 1/2 JPPs.

People go too nuts over physical freakiness. Cole is phenomenal.

Funny thing that happens when people watch him play by play.

funny thing is that 90% of the people watching the same thing you claim to be and disagree

when 25 straight people tell you that you are drunk, its time to borrow a quarter and lay in the gutter

Nuff said. He is very good but I'm not gonna put him on a pedestal because he's a big name now.

I'll go with the guy that can do back-flips, because I'm into leotards and gymnastics.

Our OL has been terrible at being able to pick up stunts for quite a few seasons. They have been working on it all year because it's been a weakness.

Our DL has been practicing it as well because last season they had alot of issues attacking the right gaps when the play called for it. Ryan tried to throw in his whole playbook in training camp and the players didn't grasp it very well. And then you include Newman's decline and Jenkin's shoulder injury we really just folded like a cheap lawn chair late in the season.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that Wade Phillips didn't like his defensive linemen to do stunts. So, our offensive linemen probably didn't get much practice time working against them.

You are right...

And I saw some crazy stunts from this defense this preseason.

Sean Lee came around from the outside and nailed a QB.

This defense is going to be fun to watch. We haven't seen nothing yet.

And, don't try it at home...
;) ;)

Yeah, I think the'll just line up and let him feast on Free.

Doug Free can't handle him at all.

JPP is a hell of a player. I think I would probably give him the early advantage but once Tyron gets his feet under him at LT later on in the year, I think Tyron can hold negate him as much as possible.

Can't you get a more current pic of Carr in a cowboys uni? Just irks me every time I see a Chiefs uni on here.
