The Cowboys must feel good about his back prognosis. They could still pick up an OL, but did not panic and force something. Hoping that Will Hernandez falls or the Cowboys trade up and grab him in the second!

HIs back is going to be a problem for the rest of his career. Its all about how he manages it. Depth behind him will be crucial for now on. No more Chaz Green / Byron Bell fiasco.

That's why they got Fleming to be the swing tackle. That's why I feel grabbing Hernandez or Daniels would be crucial. We could start them at guard day 1 and not flirt with this idea of moving La'El Collins. Then leave Fleming for Tyron insurance.

Fleming can start if Tyron misses a few games here and there. He is better than Chaz.

If Tyron's back gets worse then we have serious issues. Finding his permanent replacement will not be easy.

No, why would be be replacing our starting LT? He's insurance.

The fact that this team hasn't already cut him says they either have foolish loyalty or they don't yet have a better replacement. Either way...yikes!

Chaz Green laid a ginormous egg against the Atlanta Falcons, but his LT tape prior to that was good. The team was so convinced Green was their 5th best OL last year they tried moving him to LG to get their five best on the field once it was determined La'el Collins was the new RT. They didn't want Jon Cooper starting and made no effort to re-sign him this off-season.

That said, Green didn't take the LG job when given the chance and then played the worst game of his life at LT with Tyron Smith on the shelf. And the injury history is well documented.

Where is Green's head at now?

Is he determined to show everyone he's better than what we saw in Georgia last year. Or is he ready for a change of scenery and a fresh start somewhere else?

He's fourth on the OT depth chart right now and adds more talent at that spot than you typically see.

I want another option because I don't know what the team is thinking or how the player will respond.

If we don't keep Green this season, we might be able to flip him for a conditional draft pick in 2019 if another team calls because of an injury.
