Ok....has to be said. To those that make these highlight films....the Wacha film is the way to do it.

There's no need to show 2 minutes of a guy celebrating or high-fiving his teammates. Don't show the same play five times in a row. Show the flow of the play, don't just show the hit at the end.

In the Wacha film you can see the play develop. He is circled so you can watch him. No fluff....just substance.

I like OT Myers demeanor. He has a bit of Gogan nastiness to him. His feet are slow and do not cover much ground unfortunately. He won't be able to survive the NFL edge.

Brian Brown looks to run better than his 4.6 would indicate. I would be curious to know how he trained for his proday coming from a smaller FCS program. His routes are great for the size of the program watching him gain 5+ yards of separation on the competition competition with double moves like the out and up was impressive.

Thomas' speed is not impressive at all. His ability to keep it through cuts and moves otoh is.

I like seeing Wacha work to flank blockers and handle combination routes in zone coverage. I think he has the best shot of the bunch to make it in the league. Needs to hit the weight room.

Couldn't tell much of anything with how Gilchrist's video was edited. Very poor job on that front. He is about as athletic as Barry Church in his testing.

One thing I take out of watching these videos and some of our other undrafted guys is how hard it is to make the NFL and how many good players are out there. All these guys were good to very good college players. Most will be very long odds to make the team but maybe there is one to two that do. Romo, Beasley, Leary, Barry Church, etc were at one time just guys brought in as long shots who found a way to stick. There are many more who find a way to stick around for a year or two.

Yes, I'm amazed every year at the talent of some players that don't get drafted.

So he is a SAM prospect and not a DB. That makes me feel alot better about how he ran. The highlight video is even worse that I initially thought.

He was good at the poa all game taking on and shedding blocks. In pursuit he was extremely passive until he got hurt running behind piles and the like. Then he got dinged and seemed to say screw it and started sticking his nose in there.

That hit at the end of the game was very nice even if it did not work out for his team.

Between he and Wacka it looks like Wilber is on notice. We don't need his ability to play DE anymore.

Definitely. There is no way he can get big enough to play DE or even play OLB for a 3-4 team.

He is interesting in that he didn't shy away from mixing it up with OLinemen despite being 6'-1/2", 230. His measured athleticism is good enough to play LB in a 4-3. It's a long shot, but I don't see any physical reason that he can't do it.
