UDFA thread

Happy with these signings........hope we land Collins next week. Will be tough, but why not come to the best OL in the game------and its Dallas, baby.

Why don't you trust the Cowboys?

Because we haven't had much success over the years and after one of the years where we do, we treat the one position that made the biggest difference like it isn't all that important?

I stand up when I believe Dallas has done something right (been standing up for Romo for years) and when I believe the Cowboys have taken a misstep.

Last year, I questioned the moves we made on the defensive line and pass rush proved to be one of our biggest weaknesses.

we got to get the TCU DBs White and Hackett, got to keep them in DFW.

1 RB ?

I would give him a big salary, not a big bonus...

I would give him a nice salary with really good incentives
The key is to get his rights. Then you have control. Load him up with incentives and if the off field stuff goes away you have a star talent for very
Little

Haven't the Cowboys done well with player acquisitions over the last 3 or 4 years when the changed their philosophy?

I would start him at LG or RT right now. He is better than either of Leary or Free right now.

He has the potential to be better than free but he hang played a single nfl game
I would think the key to signing him would be a very incentive loaded contract
He might be better than free but he would certainly be a starter next year

Yes and no. Like with any team there are hits and misses.

Hmmm, at first glance, not too thrilled about this crop.

Goodley is someone who has a chance. He was a draftable prospect (saw his ranking as high as 2-3). Don't think he returns kicks though? If no, that's an uphill battle for him

It was two and the guy backed out for seattle.

Apparently Greenberry was set to sign with Seattle before he signed with us. Imo, and without knowing anything about the RB in question, I think we got the better of the exchange.

More than 4 years ago they didn't do very well. Since then however, they've done very well. All you have to do is look at the roster.

They've done well in certain areas, specifically in focusing on the offensive line. I don't think they've been particular successful with the secondary, or defensive line for that matter (although I think the plan last year there was to hold things together until we could address it properly).

I think the player with the best opportunity to make this team as a UDFA this year will be whoever shows he can return punts well.
