According to Dan Turner, we've signed our short yardage running back - Synjyn Days

Former Georgia Tech B-back Synjyn Days has agreed to an undrafted rookie free agent deal with the Dallas Cowboys, Days’ father Calvin said Saturday evening.

The Cowboys closed the deal with Days just minutes after the draft ended, an indication of the priority the team placed on the running back from Hillgrove High. As a longshot to make the roster, Days is in a relatively good spot. The Cowboys did not draft any running backs and have only four running backs on the roster.

I want Brown and White (no intended) to stay in Texas... after that don't care as much.

LOL...when I went to basic training I had two drill SGTs.
Drill Sgt Brown was a white guy.
Drill Sgt White was a black guy.

Basically played at the depth of a FB, but came to Tech as a QB, played AB, which is a wing back running outside.

Ex-Raven Anthony Allen played both AB and then BBack for Tech and is a pretty good comparison in size and ability.

As a Tech fan, I'd love to say he's the guy. In reality, he can be a good FB, short yardage RB and special teamer. He's 6'0" 235.

His counterpart at BBack at Tech, Zack Laskey, signed as an UDFA with St. Louis.

i feel one of these WRs has a golden chance to make the team,Goodley has the inside track right now.

Love the Goodley signing. He is a WR built like a RB. If he can return kicks, we may have our replacement KR/WR.

We're signing Cam McDaniel, aka the infamous "Ridiculously photogenic college football player"

He announced on his Twitter he's talking to teams but hasn't made his decision

Because we haven't had much success over the years and after one of the years where we do, we treat the one position that made the biggest difference like it isn't all that important?

I stand up when I believe Dallas has done something right (been standing up for Romo for years) and when I believe the Cowboys have taken a misstep.

Last year, I questioned the moves we made on the defensive line and pass rush proved to be one of our biggest weaknesses.

The difference between 2013 and 2014 on offense was Zach Martin for Mack Bernadeau and Scott Linehan. All other starters and coaches returned.
