Holy Balls.
There is really no reason for a male age 14-50 not to see this.

Ill go w/ Lesnar over Mir. He wont get caught w/ anything and dominate

Alves over St. Pierre b/c I dont like him

and Henderson over Bisping for the same reason

Henderson, Mir, GSP

I'm not buying the Lesnar hype the dude has 4 MMA fights total it's a disgrace that he even got the title shot being 1-1 in the UFC at the time

Brock, GSP, Hendo.

God I hate Bisping.

Hey, is there a reason why Matt Hamill isn't in the UFC game?

I was gonna make a joke but I like Matt Hamill and still can't believe that screwjob by the judges for the Bisping fight.

Brock - He's probably good enough to not get caught anything easily now, but he needs to end the fight sooner than later. Trying to lay and pray with Mir is asking to get caught in something. The longer it goes, the less likely it is that Brock wins.

GSP - Until proven otherwise, it's just not wise to bet against GSP. The only concerns I have about Alves are his massive size at 170 (unreal that he can make 170) and his striking.

Bisping - I can't stand Bisping and I'd really like Henderson to win, but I have a bad feeling about this. For some reason I can see Henderson showing his age here and even though Bisping's a poor wrestler, he's not easy to keep on the ground once taken down.

That's one of the things I always found hilarious. They laughed about Kimbo because he was a freak show but then they go and give Lesnar a title shot?

It's one of the things holding them back from being completely legitimate in my eyes, they are still prone to putting on a spectacle if the dollars are there.

I played the UFC game last night finally and I went through the tutorials, once it came time to fight, I basically forgot everything and got my butt whopped. The learning curve is pretty steep for the casual gamer.

Mir, GSP and Henderson

I liked Bisping in his first go around with the Ultimate Fighter, this last one he seemed like a cocky a hole, I hope Henderson beats the crap out of him.

I still can't believe Lesnar is a fighter now.

Pretty weird to see a guy go from WWE to fighting.

Usually goes the other way around doesn't it?

That's how I pretty much want to see it go down though I won't be upset, at all, if Mir wins. I like him too.

Herb Dean and Steve Mazzagatti have been officially appointed as referee’s for the UFC’s landmark UFC 100 pay-per-view next month.

Dean will be in charge of the main event at UFC 100 which sees current heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar take on interim title-holder Frank Mir in a heavyweight title unification match.

Mazzagatti will referee the welterweight title fight between champion Georges St. Pierre and challenger Thiago Alves.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer confirmed the appointments to MMAJunkie.com.

Mazzagatti has recently come in for criticism from UFC president Dana White, who has stated on more than one occasion that he has been unhappy with the referee’s performances.

But Mizer said: “I don’t know why Steve’s got such a bad rap from Dana.

“All I can think of is Steve, as a fireman, he has paramedic training. I think compared to the other referees, he probably knows better if a guy is hurt or not.”

Kizer also confirmed that Mario Yamasaki and Yves Lavigne will take charge of additional bouts on the UFC 100 card.

Dean and Mazzagatti will also work this Saturday’s The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas along with Josh Rosenthal and Kim Winslow.

UFC 100 takes place on Saturday, July 11 with a battle of the TUF coaches also featuring on the card as Dan Henderson takes on Michael Bisping.

Mir is so screwed now. he's not gonna get saved by the ref this time.

Seems pretty close without research.

Kazushi Sakaraba of PRIDE FC fame was a pro wrestler before he blew up in Japanese MMA.

Bob Sapp got into wrestling before he did MMA and has dabbled in both since.

Ken Shamrock was a trained in pro wrestling way before he ever did MMA. Then he got big in MMA did wrestling and went back to MMA

Dan Severn did pro wrestling and MMA around the same time period.

And most recently Bobby Lashley's jumped from WWE to MMA.

I can see why the outsider could have this logic, but there's a huge difference between Lesnar and Kimbo. Kimbo is actually a freak show with no real skill. Lesnar's an NCAA champion amateur wrestler and a ridiculous athlete. If he'd never been associated with pro wrestling, he wouldn't have the stigma he does. Even in his limited number of fights, Lesnar's basically proven he's right up there with the top heavyweights the UFC has to offer. He should've beaten Mir the first time around, he tooled a vet in Heath Herring and he knocked out a guy who'd been champion of two weight classes in the promotion and a "legend" in Couture. What should Brock be doing really? Completely overmatching non UFC caliber heavyweights?

Alves isn't going to be a cake walk for GSP though. It wouldnt shock me if he lost.

Okay, I have only seen 3 of these guys fight. Lesnar, Mir, and St. Pierre.

I started watching this stuff to see Lesnar. I am going to go with him. Too big and strong for anyone to deal with. He was dominating Mir and got careless. That won't happen again.

St. Pierre is the most impressive fighter I have seen so far. I thought he was good in every aspect. I'll take him over Alves.

I cannot make a prediction on the 3rd fight. I have not seen either guy.

You're an insider then? Brock is a freak, yes, but all of the greats of the sport right now weren't crowned that 4 fights in. You simply can not say money and fame have nothing to do with how quickly he was elevated.

that wasn't really the jist of what I was saying. I'm talking in terms of people who don't recognize his credentials. Sure his fame and the money to be made played a part, but has Brock not justified being positioned where he is? It's like I said, would you like it better if were running through guys not worthy to be in the cage with him? Brock's no different than say Josh Koscheck, but the heavyweight division has a much more shallow talent pool and it'd be crazy for him to not be where he is.
