Yes he is, but I would have liked to see Lidell get his hands on Tito for talking all that ****. Too bad Tito ridiculed his fighter who was legitimately hurt and then he quits his fight against Chuck. Talk about a double standard.

Not quite how things went down, Tito was fired from the show for not disclosing an injury, I wouldnt call that quitting.

Fighters are always injured during training. I don't know if you watched the show, but he kept riding one of his fighters for always complaining about his shoulder and went out of his way to hurt that fighter during the training sessions. That fighter ended up needing shoulder surgery. He then pulls out of the fight saying he is hurt, which he was. I think Tito purposely went on the show and never planned on fighting Lidell. The neck was just an excuse. Tito has a long history of ****ting his pants over the thought of fighting Chuck and even tried to avoid him when Tito was the champion stating that they were friends and he didn't want to fight his friend.

He did not pull out of the fight, Dana pulled him off the show and out of the fight. He was clearly not happy about being replaced on the show.

That's where your wrong. He pulled out of the fight so Dana pulled him off the show. Tito told Dana he would not fight Chuck due to needing surgery. I'm not saying Tito was faking an injury, but he pulled out of the fight purposely. Tito had a legitimate injury, but he went on the show knowing he was going to need surgery. He then revealed the injury right before the show ended.

He did not want to fight Chuck, but he did not want to come out of the show either. He was unhappy about coming off the show, but Dana took him off the show because he wasn't going to fight Chuck.

Actually, that's exactly what he did.

I also tend to agree that he never went on the show with the intention of fighting Chuck, he just wanted to promote Team Punishment and all that nonsense.

Come on already with these joke cards.... Cro cop all they showed was his past days in pride fighting.. dont get me wrong he was potentially going to be "the best of all time" people said and I have to give it to him big nog said his kicks are some of the hardest hits he's ever taken and big nogs been smashed alot.... Come on already what a weak show.. that franklin knockout was great I expected that... I was more realist about it even tho I want to be optimistic for Chuck considering it would be good for the ufc if he won.... Now what?? Rich Franklin vs Lil nog for the #1 Contender LHW shot? No chance. Give us lil nog vs shogun now a rematch of the best PRIDE fight of all-time! Don't tell me nog has to beat more people or go through someone else... he fought in pride for years when there talent was far superior to UFC's So let carwin beat lesnar or let them do whatever and make this card or these fights to actually entertain people jesus...

I just watched the Cro Cop and and Liddell fight.

Im shocked Cro Cops chin held up and he won a fight. That was a heck of a fight.

Pat Berry has so much potential but all he is right now is a kick boxer and he lost to a MMA fighter.

Liddell looked like Liddell except for the fact he just can't take a punch anymore.

Not surprised at all Franklin dropped him. Liddell has to retire now.

Ummm perhaps you should find the video of the show and watch it again cause you're completely, totally, and entirely wrong.

He pulled out of the fight. They showed Dana going to Chuck to tell him that Tito had pulled out of the fight with a neck injury he said he had to get surgery on. Then Dana came to Tito and told him that since he needed surgery Dana was making him get it now and get the process started and was firing him from the show.

He wasn't happy about being removed from the show cause he thought he'd still get to finish the show off and keep training them but he had already pulled himself from the fight at that point.

And, yes, there is no doubt that Tito went into the show knowing he had a bad neck and was going to have to get it fixed. He had no intention, at all, of facing Chuck. Too bad for him cause he might have actually had a shot at beating the version of Chuck that is around now, who can't take any solid punches, but now he'll likely never get that shot at Chuck cause I've got to believe that they're going to make him retire now. It's just sad to see him continue to get knocked clean out every time he steps into the ring anymore.

Now people move on to the next card where Lesnar and Carwin fight. That's whats up next. Your boy Nog isn't getting a LHW title shot in the near future (as in the next 6 months) so you might as well stop holding your breath for that. Unless 3 or 4 guys ahead of him have to pull out cause of injuries I can't see him getting a shot anytime soon. Rashad will get the next one, obviously, then probably the winner of Lyoto vs. Rampage will get the next one would be my guess, but that is purely a guess on my part.

If Nog wins another fight or two in that time, especially if he can win them impressively, then I'd imagine at that point he'd be in line for a LHW title shot.

And I'm still pretty bummed about Chuck last night. He was doing really good too, or at least it seemed to me he was, and even had Rich hurt a couple of times but unfortunately for him he only has to leave that chin open for one decent shot anymore and it's all over.

Guess I missed the part of the show where he pulled out of the fight, my bad.

I still dont think he was trying to duck Liddell, he has fought guys a lot more dangerous then Liddell is right now, but who knows. Either way it worked out well, it was great seeing Franklin knock Liddell the F out.

I wish I could say i agree with you on Tito but I can't. The guy is known for this kind of thing. It's not uncommon, and never has been, for him to talk loads of smack about a guy, get close tot he fight, and have to pull out for this injury or that.

Now granted that happens to all fighters. They all have to pull out of a fight now and then but Tito has done it on more than one occassion.

Heck he kept from fighting Shamrock a second time for years by agreeing and then pulling out over money, or an injury, or this or that. And that was a guy who he'd beaten the crap out of the first time. Although I've always wondered how that might have went had he not spent the next few years ducking him, or whatever you want to call it, when Ken was actually healthy cause I do know he went into the first fight with a blown out knee but refused to backdown or pull out of the fight, when he really should have.

Tito probably would have still smashed him but I think it would have been a lot more interesting then the ones we got where he fought a Ken Shamrock with a blown out wheel, and then two other fights with Ken after years out of the octagon being a fake wrestler and, of course, being a crap ton of years older.

I don't think he is duckin Chuck either. I believe he is truly hurt.

Why would anyone avoid Chuck right now?

I just wanted one more win. that was the best fight of the night imo. Mirko has a lot of wear n tear on his body. 30+ K1 fights and 30+ mma fights and that's not including all the amateur kickboxing he did.

cause it's what Tito does. I honestly don't think it matters who the fighter is, or how bad they are at MMA at this point, Tito just has that habit and personality about him.

He runs his mouth alot and then he gets scared and backs out.

Now, that said, that wasn't the case this particular time. This time was worse, IMO, cause he went into the show KNOWING that he wasn't going to fight. He knew, as they've reported, before ever taking the spot on the show that his neck was messed up and was going to require work to fix it and he took the show, and the fight, knowing he could talk all the junk he wanted cause he was never going to actually have to step up and go through with the fight.

This time it wasn't simply backing out on a fight cause he got hurt while getting ready for the fight. This time he took a fight, talked smack, all the while knowing, the whole time, that he was never actually going to be able to go to the fight. It's a punk move and, honestly, the guy should be above junk like that.

I am. Now I'm not a big time Cro Cop fan or anything but I'm a fan of guys giving their best performances and if the guy is going to be on the cards then I want to see them give it their all and go for W's. Cro Cop did that last night and that's always a good thing to see.

Pat Barry is an entertaining guy to watch as well and his punches and kicks are powerful so to see Cro Cop weather that storm and come away with a submission victory was very entertaining and fun.

I agree with Ramp that it was easily the fight of the night.

Who exactly has lil nog beat in the UFC that now he shouldn't have to fight anyone else to get a title shot? He shouldn't even have won his last fight, Brilz got jerked.
