I got told I was crazy for saying Machida is impressive to me. Sorry, he is.
I am not surprised. This guy is a killer.

I don't think there's a LHW in the world right now that can beat him

I don't think Evans ever stood a chance, he's not really a technician and you gotta be one to fight Machida.

Who are the Light Heavyweights who could give him a match?

I do not know so I am asking.

maybe Rampage, maybe Anderson Silva. I think Machida is the next best thing to Fedor right now.

Hell if I know, his style is unlike anything any of those guys have seen before, what light heavyweight is cerebral enough to crack it?

Well I'd love to see Silva/Machida, that'd be a great bout, but who is moving up or down?

Is GSP a Light Heavy?

I haven't really even seen Machida hit in the head yet. He lands almost everything he throws.

Spider vs. Dragon?

Are they a match? I'd like to see that fight honestly.
Anderson Silva has fought at 205 and his doing so again in his next fight against Forrest Griffin. though I think Anderson and Machida might train together since they're both brazillian and have the same translator.

I want to thank you for the link. They need to hit him before they can beat him. I liked Evans because against Griffin he was so explosive. You see him lay back like that, you know the man he is facing is dangerous. I was impressed the first time I saw Machida against Thiago Silva. This was by far more impressive.

GSP is a Walter, he's like 170 and under 6 feet, a bit of a mismatch size wise.

Machida has fought a good number of fights to decision, it's just hard for his opponents to track him down. He's not really a knock out specialist, though you'd never guess it from watching Evans take a dirt nap.

I can see that though because he waits for a chance to strike and he does so from odd angles. By waiting there's less of a chance for knockouts. I like how he faked a trip with his right leg and landed a kick with the left. That takes balance and unreal skill.

Yeah, the man knows what he's doing. You can't really go into your gym and train to fight Machida, who is going to pretend to do what he does to prepare you for him?

The problem is that he just wants to win the fight, he'll take a bum to the decision as likely as he'll take a good fighter. Which I don't care about, but Dana might if he keeps winning.
