I don't have a ton of Experience with Cain or JDS, I don't have a real take on the matchup . I just hope they put on a show since it's a 1 fight event, I'm sure they'll be reminded

Clay Guida is fighting someone buts its on facebook or foxsports.com only

Lot of pressure on this 1 fight

I would think there would be 2. It's an hour long spot with their match being 30 minutes, tops, being a HW title match.

Surely they have another match on there or is the rest of the show going to be filler for that match?

Either way I think it's going to be a really good fight. Both guys are pretty darn good and entertaining to watch. I'm definately looking forward to it.

Im sure they'll be a lot of pre-show. A get to know the fighters package and a going over the rules. And perhaps a "this is most definitely a sport" package.

Dana white is on both the pre and post fight shows with curt menefee

I am still a neophyte to the sport and still say Cain Velasquez is the most impressive fighter I have seen do far.

He stood out like crazy very early. I was onto him after a couple fights, thought he had GOAT potential.

I've only seen Cain a couple of times. He looked awesome against brock. Very natural athlete and light on his feet for a HW.

I'll be rooting for JDS . He seemed cool as hell on TUF

How many years are you going to say that? you've been watching now for 2-3 years. Considering how fast this sport changes you're as up to date as anyone at this point

Some of these guys are just starting to trickle into the UFC from other hard to find promotions.

That's why these fights on FOX, while a money losing venture, will be so valuable in the long run.

Hardly. I have seen like 2 fights by most guys. The only fighters I have seen more than 2 fights from are Spider Silva and Machida. I have seen 3 of each of their fights. To me that is not up to date.

Should be a good fight. Both fighters are very good. Cain is probably more aggressive where Jr is more technical. Each have one punch knock out power.

I don't like the idea of it being a one fight card.

I have read they will do part of the show as an introduction to MMA fighting to the mainstream. To get fans that might not have seen it something to get them acquainted with what will be going on.

I think with a one fight card you run the risk of one of the fighters getting KO'ed or submitting early on and boom it is over.

I imagine the UFC and Dana white hope it goes a few rounds.

That's what I was thinking as well.

Is now the time espn finally pays attention to mma?

I doubt it. Pretty busy time in sports and they still have no stake in it.

The fight will be on at the same time as the Pacquiao fight?

How stupid.

Hopefully the sports bar will have them both on.

They'll have to adapt if it really catches on. This is what MMA needs, a contract with a network and air big events often, nationally.

I'll be really happy if MMA really catches on fire. Right now the only other sport I really appreciate watching is the NFL.
