Uh, anybody off the Wade bandwagon

Garrett was here before Wade,if Wade didn't like the arrangement he shouldn't of taken the job.

Craig

And let me add that Garrett has been in more Cowboys playoff wins than Wade.

:D

Nope.

This game simply came down to a desperate team and crappy o-line play. Romo did about as well as could be expected given how poor the pass protection was, Roy Williams had a good game (yes, he fumbled, it was also a darn good play by Woodson). We even had some nice runs on the ground, but we couldn't sustain enough drives and it cost us badly.

The D still played lights out, they held the Pack to under 300 total yards and 17 points when they came into this game putting up around 29 and 400 a game. That is despite the injuries in the middle of the game and the horrible TOP for us this game.

It was a trap game and I don't know that you can place the loss on anybody in particular, but you certainly can't place it on the D which is one of the big reasons Wade was hired in the first place. Drop another game next week and I begin to get worried, sometimes a team just needs it more, that was Green Bay this game.

I know. Dumb premise.

But . . . it recalled last week's wade bandwagon thread.

Just goes to show how one game is often meaningless as far as long-range.

As I consider the mind-numbing game today, I am thinking -- no, hoping, something can still ignite this Cowboys team to finish this 11-5.

IT CAN HAPPEN.

Not to give a pat Wade on the back (that bowl of pablulum) but to say that even the worst coach can have a good team. Or bad games.

RE the sidelines, today, my former P.O. came over to watch the game, and he said that Wade has three "looks" on the sidelines, 1. Constipation 2. bewilderment 3. Big constription.
Well that cracked us both up, but seriously. Wade has gotta go. I don't blame this game on Wade so much.

His players just kinda sucked today. They phoned it in.
RW takes one step forward and one step back.
Our defensive guru has a 20th ranked defensive team and it plays like it deserves that rank.
Our Barber up the middle is getting tedious. I long for a completely healthy FELIX. And an Austin playing the long-range game. Consistently.

This is a team that is unsure of itself. Looking for its potential TOGETHER as a team. And leaderless. :enough:
My Cowboys deserve much, much better than Wade.

I was never on one except to not hire Wade or Norv Bandwagon

I'm jumping on the Wade bandwagon because his D has been playing good and I think that is what we need to get out of December with the playoffs in hand.

Defense allowed 1 TD and 1 FG through 3.5 quarters of play, and then in a horrendous blown call they give up a garbage TD from the 4 yard line, which is hard to keep teams out of the endzone regardless of who you're playing if they're given 4 downs from inside the 5.

I think they played well. I'd be interested to see how many times GB crossed the 50 during the game.

Wade didn't throw the INT (a low pass behind Witten mind you),
Wade didn't let Woodson run by untouched.
Wade didn't fumble the ball.
Wade didn't miss a FG.

Frankly, the defense did as good as they could for as long as they could. The offense left the defense out to dry today.

TIME OF POSSESSION:
1st QTR: 5:48 (12 plays)
2nd QTR: 4:22 (10 plays)
3rd QTR: 3:48 (8 plays)

Is it ANY wonder the defense wore down and gave up points in the 4th QTR?? Wade's fault? Hardly. This loss is on the offense. Dom Capers absolutely out-coached Jason Garrett.

Wade isnt the problem, Jason Garrett and his offense is the problem.

Well, some of the things you pointed to are squarely why I think this coaching staff could potentially be doomed.

We all recognize coaches can only do so much and that execution does fall on the players' shoulders. But generally speaking, penalties and sloppiness (and losses) can and do cost coaches their jobs.

This team has been on the cusp of joining the league's elite franchises since 2006, yet we continually fall a hair or three short. One of our biggest downfalls has been we're simply not a sharp, smoothly operating team -- be it because of penalties, miscommunications, missing opportunities or turnovers.

We played horribly today, and these games happen. But those errors came out by the dozen today.

Even during the winning streak, as it was pointed out to me by InmanRoshi, these miscues crept into our play. We ignored it because we won. But come December, we've got to be sharper.

If not, it could become Wade's demise.

The defense played good considering they were on the field for almost 2/3's of the game.

One thing that really got me pissed at Wade was seeing Jenkins back in the game late in the 4th when the game was already over. Jenkins was clearly hurting on the sidelines. Why put him back in the game? So he can injure it worse??? Didn't understand that decision.

The reports were that it was a bruise. If so, the only question is whether Jenkins feels well enough to play, which would be his decision. He probably thought he could tough it out -- until he had to use that arm to make a tackle.

i was never on any bandwagon. both have had their faults

but i like the job wade has done so far this year. the d showed up. he did his part

garrett didnt

wade still has a bandwagon i guess to speak off

garretts has broken down. the wheels are gone. the rims are missing

and while they were at it someone probably jacked the system to lol

Let's all repeat after dog boy:

Defense is playing great. Defense is playing great.

Ahem, for once, I'd like to have a defense that plays great and is also in the top 5 in the NFL and not 20th or so. Then I am convinced that they are playing great and not just towel-waving like a Brooking or James. Or a Cassy.

I supported Wade last week and still support him today. When the season is done we will see what this team accomplished or failed to accomplish. I’m not a week by week fan

The defense didn't lose this game... However as the head coach you are responsible for everything so he should have been on Garrett at half time.

I dont understand why after every lose people want to just abondon every thing fire all the coaches, get a new QB new everything. Like seriously, its a lose, the cowboys were outplayed it happens and this team will lose again this year. People really should stop with all the hysterics. Its not that serious.

Got me, it happens any time the team loses a game. I guess if you have your mind made up then once Dallas loses a game we see these post from the same people.

The Wade's defense came ready to play. Garrett's offense, not so much.
I agree, and I also don't think it's on Wade.....but it is much more than just Wade's "D" and Garret's "O" becasue Wade is the Head Coach overseeing the works.
Nevertheless, no, I don't think this one is on Wade.

I've never been on the "Coach" Wade bandwagon. Won't be even if the Cowboys win a Super Bowl, which will happen in spite of Wade coaching - which I don't believe it will.

However, I am a passenger on the "Defensive coordinator" Wade bandwagon. :)
