Great post you back it up with facts which is depressing..knowing next game might be rainingStanleySpadowski said:I probably started the Bledsoe/bad weather stuff.
I was surprised when I first started looking into it how badly he does whenever it rains or is cold. Statistically, his three worst games last year for Dallas were Seattle in the rain and at NYG and Washington (which just happen to be the two coldest games Dallas played all year). One year may be an anomaly, but look back through his career. Look at his '03 year in Buffalo. They played four games in December, two at home, one at New England and one at Tennessee. He had one game around 90 for a rating and three games at 60 or below (like in the 40s and 30s). Guess which game was the 90.
Look at '04. Four games in December and on in January. Great game at Miami, two lousy games at home. Decent in other warmer weather games at San Francisco and Cinci.
The Jacksonville game was a microcosm of his career. Started off all world when the weather was fine, then started stinking up the place as soon as the drizzle came. Same way he usually starts off strong in September but fades in the cold of December.
Look at the game logs on NFL.com (they go back to '01). Whenever you see an abnormally poor game early in the season, call up the weather for that site on that date. You'd be surprised also.
