From Washington the state, played in New England and Buffalo. It doesn't seem that he should have a problem. But he did appear to struggle right around when it started raining in our last game(and he might have hurt his back).

He should be used to it

I probably started the Bledsoe/bad weather stuff.

I was surprised when I first started looking into it how badly he does whenever it rains or is cold. Statistically, his three worst games last year for Dallas were Seattle in the rain and at NYG and Washington (which just happen to be the two coldest games Dallas played all year). One year may be an anomaly, but look back through his career. Look at his '03 year in Buffalo. They played four games in December, two at home, one at New England and one at Tennessee. He had one game around 90 for a rating and three games at 60 or below (like in the 40s and 30s). Guess which game was the 90.

Look at '04. Four games in December and on in January. Great game at Miami, two lousy games at home. Decent in other warmer weather games at San Francisco and Cinci.

The Jacksonville game was a microcosm of his career. Started off all world when the weather was fine, then started stinking up the place as soon as the drizzle came. Same way he usually starts off strong in September but fades in the cold of December.

Look at the game logs on NFL.com (they go back to '01). Whenever you see an abnormally poor game early in the season, call up the weather for that site on that date. You'd be surprised also.
Great post you back it up with facts which is depressing..knowing next game might be raining

Sorry I have yet to see the facts... you know the ones that PROVE Bledsoe is worse than most QBs in inclement weather. He played in NE and Buffalo for crying out loud, and led New England to a Super Bowl. How does that prove he can't play in cold weather again??

Yeah good one:rolleyes:...

Funny how you never put anything in your posts indicating you were joking. But whatever, if you can't admit you didn't know. Not that there's anything wrong with that, we all learned that piece of information at some point.

If you need more evidence, look at the '04 season. For the first eight games Bledsoe's lowest passer rating was 75 and change with the exception of the 10/24 game at Baltimore when he was in the 30's. Guess what, the weather was in the high 40's with a drizzle that day.

His next bad game came in New England on 11/14 with a rating in the teens. The temperature that day was in the 40's also.

12/12/04... Cleveland at Buffalo. In the snow. Drew Bledsoe was 12-27 with 100 yards and a TD. Not great stats you say? Well Luke McCown and Jeff Garcia combined to throw for a grand total of -12 yards. Oh and Buffalo won 37-7... 31 degrees, 15-20 mph winds.

How about the Cincy game you glazed over from '04... calling it a "warmer weather game."

19 degrees, 22 mph winds... wind chill = 4.

Bledsoe... 15-30, 183 yards, 1 TD. 33-17 final.

The offense can request a dry ball before any snap. This is a non-issue.

Just to add as I said before I saw him every year in buffalo, when he was playing with new england. He threw the ball great in those games, especially that miserable day in 95. If I can find his numbers and the game sheet I will put it up, but I saw him do it with my own two eyes...

I guess a very humid day (Jacksonville) is considered inclement weather?

It rained during the Jax game, after the first quarter.. I distinctly remember that.

This is professional football. If the rain hinders a player's performance, then maybe that player shouldn't be on this team.
