Ware's got a pretty nice home. The decor is a little too traditional for my taste, but that's a really nice home.

With only two kids, I wonder why they're upgrading.

Just a guess... but their current home is in a neighborhood. He may be wanting to get some acreage/privacy.

I think the BIGGER QUESTION is: why the **** does ware have a GIANTS helmet in his house at all?

I seriously, actually just lost a lot of respect for Ware.

It's possible, but in a gated community, with a home on an acre, looks to me they've got all the privacy one could want.

What's interesting is that Ware's got a nicer home than Romo. Romo has a house that I could see in one of the neighborhoods by me.

Side note: Why people are upset with Ware having sports memoriabilia is beyond me. These guys are pros and the players are colleagues off the field. On thefield is when they're rivals.

Mine would have to include a couple of computers and a library of books. :)

btw, I will take room #6 (minus the **** on the light fixture) once you've added in the computers and book shelves.

No guitars, bass, amps, drums?

I think that's because he can't actually mount the quarterback's head on his wall.

How many respect points are you going to dock him for having an Eagles and Commanders helmet up there?

Yeah, true. I'd also add that mine would have a poker table and cigarette girls. No smoking inside, of course. :)

I'd bet he has the entire league up on that shelf.

You can see about 8 different helmets.

Looks like the Patriots, Giants, Saints, Cardinals, 9ers, Vikings and possibly even the Panthers.

And the balls in between.

I'd bet you anything those balls are game balls (or balls with his stats on them) from that particular game or against that particular team sitting next to the helmet.

And don't look now but below the two jerseys on the wall are two more jerseys. One an Eagle player and the other a Viking.

Lot of goofballs posting in this thread.

"OMG Ware has a Merriman jersey!"

"OMG Ware has a Giants helmet!"

"OMG Ware has other sports items that arn't all Dallas Cowboy themed!"

Good grief people..

Some of those "man caves" aren't even man caves.

They're just really nice sports bars in someone's house.

The car themed room is pretty awesome. I'm not really a car guy but at least it's a clearly defined man room.

The arched timber ceiling gets extra points for a shuffleboard table.

This one may be least manly of all.

Clearly just an area where this guy hangs out when he has a gathering.

A man cave should be a fully self-sustainable and highly used room. Not just a social gathering piece. The dude that owns this would probably be the type of guy who swaps between tennis and his favorite team's game whenever his team is on defense.

It would be my choice of all those listed. I have a thing for Italian baroque ceiling architecture. Nothing wrong with having a cultured environment in which to enjoy the modern equivalent of gladiatorial sport.

Not Lane. I was signed in to hubby's name and didn't know. Sorry. Lane does not study house plans. I do.:laugh2:

Salt, that website was awesome! My favorite house was the one right above the house you showed. 11411 Cat Springs. 9,000 sq. ft. of nuttin' but nice! Over the top, I know, but great eye candy.:D

$2.7 million asking price. Taxes on that about $75-$85K per year depending on Bexar or Kendall county.

Did you catch the Virtual Tour for 11411? Move your cursor over the image to move it yourself. Some of them should move in the vertical as well as horizontal plane. http://tours.tourfactory.com/tours/tour.asp?t=259534

If you look at the top of the first picture I posted of the house, you can see the tip top of the bell tower looking thing sticking out. I actually made a few panoramas of that house before it went on the market. The only one I can find though is the entry way. The builder did some great work with water effects and lighting in the creek that runs behind the house as well.

A few other links for you from San Antonio builders.

Yes, I spent a good portion of my morning yesterday on the virtual tour. I looked at every house in the lineup, but 11411 was my favorite. All of the houses are sweet though.

Looks like I've got my day mapped out now, with all the new links you provided me. Lol, I am such a geek.:D

And boy, would I love the floorplan to DeMarcus' house!

Can't give you the floorplan, but I did track down the virtual tour.

Pisses me off that they're passing off a slide show as a virtual tour. REALLY pisses me off that the virtual tours I was personally making 8 years ago are better than 98% of what's out there. I had it set-up where you could "walk" from room to room by pushing on hotspots located in the image on the tour. If there was a still photograph of a view, or something special, that was a hotspot as well.

Sold my first house, sight unseen by the buyers, based on my virtual tour alone. They called their agent, asked her to verify that the tour was accurate, and put in an offer. The first time they saw it in person was the day of closing.

I remember those walking virtual tours. They were great. Saw some really nice houses with that feature. Haven't seen it in a long time, though.

It is fitting that Ware would live in a "castle". I always thought he was more like a prince, one of the most dignified and classy men I have ever seen, with the great prince-like looks to match!
