They get spanked by the Yankees in the series, then cap off the week losing a 1st place battle to the Cowboys on their home field.

Yeah, go make it happen. That whole city will be on suicide watch. And I'll love it.

Exactly... I was rooting for the Yankees just so Philly fans could start wallowing in the despair and self-loathing they're so famous for.

We need to continue that this Sunday.

I can go for this.

Nuke 'em!
A good beat down of Donovan McNabb. Never let him get into rhythm.

Me too and I don't even like the Yanks.

Sunday will be our coming out party (for the non-believers) and maybe, just maybe it will make the haters go away for a while. Nah, they will probably find something else to hate on.

I think that's the key to this game. How Dallas is able to handle McNabb.

They can't be flying back there and missing sacks. They need to plant that fat frick.

They do that, they win.

Oh, and here's hoping the Flyers and Sixers will lose, too, and their garbage workers will go on strike.

Woke up this morning, saw the final score and said 'one down one to go.'

I can't deny that this scenerio didn't cross my mind last night after the baseball game.

Reids' boy's do NOT need any more idle time................. :D

Well, as a Yankee fan, my magical sports week is still intact. Time for Dallas to put some icing on this cake.

I always feel like we can win any game. But that feeling doesnt start until game time. Right now, I am concerned the Eagles will bring it and pound us. Take Austin out of game.

Me too. When I followed baseball I hated the Yankees, but I was rooting for them in this series just because they were playing a filthydelphia team. Screw that obnoxious fanbase.

Well, the Garbage workers aren't on strike but the Transit workers (Septa) are!:laugh2:

Sadly, as a resident of Camp Hill, PA I grew up loving the Phighting Phils, so my dream weekend can only come half true  , but now that baseball season's over, damn Philadelphia, it should be part of New Jersey anyway. Thank Crom that my grandfather got me into the Cowboys in the 70's instead of the Iggles.

Bad as I hate the Beagles, could never bring myself to root the for the Yankees. Like going to Vegas and rooting for the house.

Lol ...some of you guys are so extremely funny ...mixing Football with Baseball. Some of you have expressed how good you felt about the Yankees and somehow you think that's going to tie directly in on the eagles vs Cowboys game. Get real guys, there can't possible be any connection. If it were, using your own concepts, this week could go especially bad "foryas" (excuse my Philadelphia-east Coast accent); especially taking into consideration that last year the Phillies were work Champions and the Eagles beat you guys 44-6.

What it comes down to is the Yankees-Phillies gan and what we did to your team last year has absolutely nothing to do with this coming Sunday. On the other hand, I wouldn't overlook the Eagle-Giants outcome.

Of course there's no real connection. I'm just wallowing in your city's misery. Jimmy "we're still the better team" Rollins? Class act as always.
