Put yourself in the Eagles’ coaches shoes as they prepare for the game. So many question marks. Some players are out and you have no idea who is replacing them and how. Some players like Parsons, Odig, Cox, Golston have little to no film.

1) Where will Parsons be? Need a plan and practice one way if he is a LB and maybe another if he is a DE. And what if Parsons shows as a DE but switches to LB in an instant.
2) Who is at DT? Odig is a given. Bohanna will be there some. Urban, Hamilton, Golston, and Gregory may be rotating in and out at DT and DE. Some of the lighter DEs might be shooting gaps as DTs.
3) Neal is out. Who replaces Neal? Cox or Kearse or Parsons or who?
4) Will the Cowboys be playing 4-3 or 3-4. Basically we have the players to run either and can switch from a 3-4 to 4-3 without swapping players. I think I can move the same players around and run either a 3-4 or 4-3.
5) Who will be spying Hurts?
6) Who will be the LBs and who will be weak, strong, middle? The LBs are kind of like interchangeable. A mix of T&T - Terminator and Transformer.

The unknown can be an advantage. I have no idea what defense the Cowboys will play and I don’t think the Eagles know either. Hopefully, McCarthy and Quinn and, more importantly, the defensive players do know.

True , but that uncertainty lasts Only couple of possessions , after that only Talent helps, of course we can know how good or bad are our backups.

The glass is half full I guess. But all those players who will be missing matter. And since all but two are on defense, it could matter a lot. They are missing 5 defensive linemen who would all be playing and that has to hurt them.
I guess my concern is will the injuries stop or will we see more? They seem to come in droves.

Pretty easy if I am the D coordinator. Because of the injuries we are assured to see lots of Jaylon Smith. Attack and and Brown. Run right at Jaylon in the run game and get him matched up on anyone in the passing game. Brown attack without mercy on the deep routes.

I think they have enough issues worrying about their own game plan. What they’re going to do. More so than what we’re going to do.

I think Jaylin will surprise you. He’s always had a talent. Now his confidence is coming back.

Doesnt have the physical tools or the heart to play linebacker in the NFL. If anything he is blindly confident. Worst linebacker on the team.

I totally disagree. If anything that’s his best asset. His heart

The advantage of having some depth on the defense is we can move pieces around to fill weaknesses. We are getting guys back each week and our pieces continue to move around accordingly. So I see this as something other opponents will have to figure out for weeks to come.

....one thing for certain, Micah is going to ball. I bet they plan around him.

In recent years the team has struggled with this many players out. Last week they found a way to win. Showed a lot of heart. This is another good test for the heart and depth of the team. I think they will do just fine.
