From all reports, he has improved a lot.

there are 2 major jobs for the TE - getting open and catching passes and handle all the different blocking assignments.

It's a long shot, but if Rico can learn this game he could be amazing, rooting hard for him, but not holding my breath.

For a guy with little football experience to play well on the scout team is encouraging.
They have him learning blocking techniques with the offensive lineman and his catching lots of contested balls from Romo.
