There's no meat on this bone, but I'd been expecting up until this last week that they'd eventually go back to Romo over Thanksgiving (I thought he'd be back much sooner originally, and still think he would have been back after the bye, if we'd needed him more). For whatever reason, after the Browns game, I shifted a bit in my thinking that this really was becoming Dak's team in a way that's hard to dispute--even if you're making the case for one of the very best Cowboys QBs, ever. By week 12, Dak will have put so much into this season that, if we're still riding high, at some point it becomes unfair to him to take it away--even for Romo.
At this point, I really have no idea what they're going to do. Maybe a back-to-back road game loss to PIT makes that a bit easier. I just can't imagine them giving Tony two games in four days with the Ravens and Commanders on Thanksgiving. And if you wait for Thanksgiving, then you're putting Tony back in after all that time off with a short turnaround. If you don't do it until the next week, you're traveling to an excellent defense in Minnesota.
I want to see Tony have a chance to fit back in. Just having a hard time figuring out where to do it. While, the more Dak plays, the better he seems to be getting.
