I haven't seen a runner like this since, yeah, shoot me, Joseph Randle.
Also @ 5:24.. gives me hope that Biadz can develop this year.

Interesting that you chose "barely outrushed."
You're not getting it. It's more carries, more yards and more points. Averages can be misleading if that's all you look at. Which it is.
No he wasn't better. He was only better on his designated plays. Not when asked to do Zeke's plays. Unfortunately, Zeke was not asked to do some of Pollard's plays like he did in the past.
Later on as it had been pointed out, when he did get run plays to the outside, it worked, and defenses were off guard again. Then Moore stopped doing it again.
Im sorry, what are Zeke plays and what are Pollard plays?
You need "If's" to make Pollard better than Elliott. We have now entered hypothetical-land.Lol I’m not looking at the average at all.
Zeke barely outrushed him with significantly more carries. Of course Pollard would destroy Zekes numbers if he had Zekes touches and Zeke had his.
Early in the year he had a great mix of plays for them, and seemed to be interchangeable. At what point did he get away from that. Injuries to both of them as Dak”s calf, the OL injuries. He went away from it.
He had plays for Pollard and Plays for Zeke. As opposed to what he was doing the 1st 6 games.
It was Zeke up the middle constantly into a stacked box. Rarely did he run him to the outside. Now was his knee injury keeping him from hitting that corner, maybe, but after the week rest he showed in the next game he could do it on a few plays. As then Pollard missed a game, so he had no choice but to have some runs to the outside, though it was very few.
Pollard plays were mostly to the outside and seemed not too many up the middle into the stacked box.
Neither runner had much success up the middle.
This is just my opinion and what I observed at the time. Maybe a play by play look will show otherwise. But that is the way it seemed.
The run game was just not there for a variety of reasons.
There was an article or tweet that stated each of them had their own set of plays.
Do you ever get tired of being completely wrong?Zeke runs into the middle of a stacked box because that is all he can do and that is all he chooses to do. He could bounce it outside any time he wants yet he knows he will probably not make the edge.
As far as Pollard getting the end around stuff type runs, those are not Zeke plays I agree. But there again, its not a play that Zeke could do well and Pollard does much better.
Pollard bounces it outside more because he can and he knows he can beat just about any of those backers to the edge. Plenty of nice runs for Pollard up the middle as well.
Simple fact of the matter is that Pollard simply has more skills as a back so the play book is more wide open. What can Zeke really do well anymore? He almost has to dive inside. Otherwise he probably gets stopped for a 3 yard loss trying to bounce it outside.
Defenses know this and so they naturally just cover the middle running lanes on obvious Zeke run down early. Its what makes us predictable and hurts our run game. Cowboys are way over due finding a young stud back that can both run inside, outside, and carry the load if need be. And that doesnt cost 15- 18million and demand a full load.

LOL..."coming to pass". Pollard gets a couple splash plays in the flats....and gets injured being the backup and you proclaim your victory. Dude. You theory sounds great and all except for the fact that Zeke continues to trend in the wrong direction over the last 3 to 4 years since I have been hounding him. In fact, its almost the entire fan base and NFL landscape that continues to ask for more Pollard and less Zeke.
In short...........everything I have said about Zeke is coming to pass and is right on the money.
Same thing with Pollard.
Why would I tire of something that rarely happens?

You can keep wording things however you need, but you are guessing on Pollard. He's not an every down / fulltime RB. He never was. Even if you want it.Just simple math. More volume = more production. Zeke barely out produced him with way more touches.
Pollard doesn't run all that well inside.
This isn't accurate.Im not sure where you get that from. If there is a hole, he hits it and hits it fast. Stats show he breaks more tackles and makes more people miss then Zeke.
This isn't accurate.
Elliott had more yards, yards after contact and more broken tackles.
By the way, I'm not defending anyone, I think our entire run game is a joke.
