While many are talking about Rush, Woods and Rico etc. I wanted to bring out under the radar guys that made plays tonight.

I will start with some starters from tonight's game.

David Irving....was everywhere in the few plays he was in, even had a chase down of a very fast back to force a fumble. Is suspended but was good to see him making plays tonight, hopefully he keeps his head on right and we might have at least 1 DE spot filled.

Taco Charlton....looked much better. Biggest thing was he shows he is improving. I noticed he still needs to work his hands better to keep lineman from grabbing him. Sometimes he sets his spin up to early but is deadly when timed correctly. Showed explosive speed and war daddy like move to get the sack (should have been safety)

Lewis Neal....looked very quick tonight. Pair with Collins and the DT position is starting to look decent. Was in the backfield a few times blowing up run plays and forcing the QB to throw earlier.

McFadden seemed to be warming up tonight. Last week he didn't look very good but tonight was dangerous when catching the ball. Ran with power and was decisive with his cuts.

Blake Jarwin.....with Rico taking center stage Jarwin has caught the ball well. I don't think he makes the roster but has something to work with to develop.

Jonathan Cooper....outplayed Bell tonight and I think has taken the LG job unless Green gets healthy and shows he is better (which I doubt) Bell had a ton of mistakes tonight.

Noah Brown....some have already talked about him but I wanted to mention him again. I think he makes this roster, and can get some playing time. Looks very strong and improved a ton from last week.

Kavon Frazier....made a ton of plays tonight. Hits hard and caused a fumble, was around the ball all night when in the game. Seems to work really well with Woods at safety.

Duke Thomas....had good coverage tonight and made a ton of tackles. Is caught up with numbers at corner but if injuries continue he can make it. White is ahead right now but if he don't get healed and into the game he could get passed by.

Joey Ivie....looked better tonight compare to last week. Made a huge play in the backfield tonight and with suspensions he could make the roster but is clearly behind Neal right now.

Anyways feel free to add any others that nobody has mentioned. Just thought to keep all the undercover players in 1 thread to give then credit.

Frazier and Woods both have a place on this team. I think Woods has a better chance at getting defensive snaps replacing Jones when Jones covers slot, but I think Frazier will be a fixture on ST's

I agree with all the OP, though my one nitpick is I could still see Chaz Green making a run at the starting LG spot.

But Taco and Frazier and Woods clearly played much better in this game, we are going to have a lot of quality depth on this team and a real battle for the last spots on the roster.

I have been saying for weeks that Woods and Frazier are locks for this roster. Tonight just shows how close they really are

Another one that has impressed me this camp when it comes to year 1 and year 2 of switching positions is keith smith. i like what I have seen from him so far this year.
